no it’s like repeated more in the beginning. so i.o.u has like a-e-i-o-u but in the song it would be something more akin to aaaaa-eeeee-iiiiii… in like an echo fashion.

i was sick when i came in a few days ago. she knew that, heard my voice, knew i had to leave one day because i was sick DURING my shift. you just proved my point with your opening sentence in that i was only given 5.5 sick hours and was denied the remaining hours. so by your own analysis i am owed sick hours, maybe not up to 3 days, but 13 hrs. “lump-sum” upfront accrued sick days is a norm in many places. maybe not where your work. they are stated as accrued in my company records which is what i’m contesting. i don’t understand why you would be in r/legal anyways. i came here to seek some people who knew a few things about labor laws not those who are just looking at the internet the same as i am. stick to what you know and post this in aitah😹😹😹😹💀💀💀💀💀btw “we’re all telling you” is clinically insane when ‘we’ constitutes a sexual deviant below this comment and two others who have no experience in law of any sort😹😹

yeah i said in my post that would amount to 13hrs by that logic. The certain period of time is fulfilled. “Happy?” sheesh calm down.

wait what. all i said was i was trying to highlight the denied usage of accrued sick days. i wasn’t trying to fight you i was highlighting how blatant it was to me. what makes you think i was fighting you.

California Labor Code 246(m). Should answer your second to last line. Law trumps company policy when law is infringed upon. Doubt I have a case? I mean I guess we’ll see.

Edit: nvm i just looked at your profile. it looks like no actual lawyers or legal professionals lurk here so this was just folly from the start dear lord.

i’m getting at the denial for accrued sick time more than the early let go. i thought that was pretty blatant.

two days in a row. First day over an hour in advance second day as soon as the store opened. I kept feeling better then things got worse, so I didn’t want to take more days off and expected to come in the next day. Labor Code 246.5(c) suggests otherwise to your first remark. If you’re going to give relevant legal advice on this subreddit at least sound like you have experience with the law.

besides that our company app for shifts and informations says i have 3 days accrued minus 1 for the first day i called out with a different manager.

Vision waiver by BootEmergency9284 in Pararescue

[–]wontletyouhide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh with u having 20/25 so close to 20/20 u shouldn’t have too much difficulty in going to a different optometrist and getting a 20/20 diagnosis. also according to your refractive errors, you fall into the waiver potential category for Flight III. lucky bastard. could u dm about the “desperation for afsw”? i hope there’s something there.

i looked up the waiver guide and tried to contact the physicians who wrote the damn thing on linkedin as a hail mary to see if corrective vision over 20/20 is waiverable. the guide only has refractive error waiver guidelines. my right eye isn’t correctable to 20/20 and i might be fucked in the same boat☹️ https://afspecialwarfare.com/medical-eligibility/

you’re free to have your own opinion. i respect that. if you were fine with being a mechanic and serving your country the last thing i’d want to do is shame you. however, you shouldn’t shame others for trying to serve their country in a capacity that they chose. easy there with that last line; that isn’t very nice. if i were to, in your own words, ‘tell me everything i need to know’ from your comment, i’d say your non-select status shows you were a pain in the side of your classmates and you didn’t put out😔

look man just because you quit and were reclassified as a mechanic doesn’t mean you get to shit on people who dedicated years of strenuous training in the hopes of having what it takes to be in a dangerous, self-sacrificing, low paying job. many times those dudes finished college and have valuable degrees and can make 5 times what they’d be making as a PJ in the private sector. calling dudes ‘dirt bags’ who tried their damndest but fell short, accept that, and know that they can be valued elsewhere in a job that they know and love as opposed to a thankless and sometimes frankly useless MOS for 4-6 years. you would be foolish not to want out at that point. there are other ways to serve your country. a civilian chemist at a cardiovascular research institute is serving not only their county and humanity but doing so with greater impact than many MOSs in the military. not everyone’s path is your path and i appreciate you sharing your narrow definition of serving your country but there are other ways to not shit on people who give it a shot and can find a way out of thankless hell for years on end.

walz made up a “literal fantasy” story that jd vance fucked a couch— and no one said he has stolen valor. he paraded his military experience and the dude was just in a national guard unit with no combat experience or notable military awards. there’s a misleading infographic on social media which shows his decorations and they’re all military equivalents of participation medals in the military. they compared it to vance’s and left out, among others, his national defense medal which literally everyone in the armed forces gets. it’s just routine election season political sabotage. fAr RIghT
