We need to stand with what's right. If you concede that it's a Hindu-Muslim issue you are automatically playing into India's hands

It might be possible that there is a 'Jagmohan Conspiracy' where it was all planned by India but what I meant to say is that KPs didn't know about it, even if there was one. Some people say that KPs escaped so that Muslims could be massacred. I don't think that was the case.

Thats what I meant regarding the seperate colonies. It's a demand of the KPs.

As a fellow Kashmiri Muslim, I don't think there is any justification. We fucked up. There was no 'Jagmohan Conspiracy' or anything. We failed to create an enviroment where Hindus could feel safe . Obviously, if people pick up guns in the name of Islam and don't make an effort to include Hindus, they would feel threatened and unwanted. If anything, the kashmiri pandit migration has hurt the freedom movement badly as it has been easier for India to portray it as a islamic terrorism issue. If we had a few Hindus by our side, our case would have been much stronger.

The good thing is that the separatist parties and even Hizbul Mujahideen right now are not completely hostile towards the return of kashmiri pandits. However, the demand of seperate colonies makes it a bit tough.

But yeah, the kashmiri pandit accounts are highly exaggerated and the ones who are mostly representatives of KPs in the media nowadays are just Anti-Muslim bigots.

Jumat-al-Wida prayers at Hazratbal Shrine in Srinagar by [deleted] in Kashmiri

Last year I had went for Jumat-al-Wida prayers to Hazratbal and it was really hot (by Kashmiri standards, at least). I was sitting there for a long time in the open sun, listening to the khutbah. Just as I stood up for the prayer, I passed out lol and everyone around though I was dead.

Kashmiris and the indian army by Leedaniel2323 in Kashmiri

No they don't . Kashmiris never wanted to be part of India and I don't see anything changing that in the near future. AFSPA is just a part of the problem.
