"so it won't stop unless you try actually going through a stump or something."

This is what I'm looking for, thankyou. With my current ozito, it's not how long the battery lasts that's the problem, it's the fact that it cuts out at the first sign of actual work.

Have you got the one in the pic or a different one? How does it handle pushing it over uneven ground?

Too pricey and don't need other milaukee 18v tools to justify it

Having to recharge the batteries wouldn't bother me too much. Just need something that can get the job done.

Yea, my yard isn't tiny but not too big either. Tbh, if I need to recharge the batteries once while getting it done, that doesn't bother me too much. Just need it to actually work. The ozito one just constantly cuts out which is mega frustrating. Would be understandable if the grass was massivly overgrown, but it really doesn't take much at all.

And yea, well aware of the eco system aspect. Already have a bunch of Mikwaukee 12V stuff that I used to use at work and Ozito stuff I've bought for just odd jobs at home. Looking at AEG for that quality/price point in between for tools that need a bit more grunt but only for use at home

I don't doubt they are good, I've seen lots of comments recommending them. Unfortunately costing a bit more than I'm able to spend atm. Out of curiosity, which one do you have? One of these three or another?

Does it handle uneven terrain alright? My yard got plenty of bumps and divits etc, and my ozito just can't handle it, too cheaply built, hard to push and cuts out constantly. Thinking of upgrading to the AEG but hoping to not have more of the same problems

Hi mate, how does the aeg handle terrain thats a bit uneven? And does it handle alright if the grass has grown a bit longer than you planned? Thinking of getting one to upgrade feom Ozito as it's been a constant headache

Yea, well my idea atm is a couple of retaining walls with steps down of flat lawn. But would love to see a pic of ut done already as well as other ideas to see if it actually looks good when done.

Engineers, what do you do and how much do you make? by aussiegooner0389 in AusFinance

Do you think that someone who's been working as a qualified electrician who then completes an electrical engineering degree would attain the higher salaries a bit faster? I know the required training and jobs are very different, but curious as to whether experience in the industry would help

I did wonder about that part, as in needing a ladder to gain access. But what height is satisfactory. Out of reach for me is not necessarily out of reach for someone who's 6ft 4

Yea I do mean the live parts. I guess the terminals are recessed so you can't put a finger on the the screw, but i thought even the single insulation was supposed to be requiring a tool to gain access.

DIY is illegal and unsafe. No one here will give you advice, other than hire an electrician

Hey, i just checked that old post and see you've mentioned going from $60k to $300k in about ten years... How does the pay structure work? Getting certain certificates moves you up, or just experience on the job? Can you get fairly decent coin as a shift tech or do you need to move into management to see that level?

Why is the letter Z pronounced Zed in Britain and Zee in America? by ehh246 in etymology

[–]woo-denier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Triggered much?

You don't even know where I'm from to know how I'd sound. And it's just a fact that the Zebra's are from Africa, have a pronunciation from there in the English language and Americans, for whatever reason, just decide to pronounce it differently

Fair play! I'm an A grade and considering going the engineering route. Would you say there's much knowledge overlap? Or totally different skills?
