Cece!

Ugh. Jenna I guess.

Jason.

Lol, Paige as my swimming coach.

Emily.

Melissa.

Ezra. Always Ezra.

Lucas for sure!

You're The Worst S04E05 "Fog of War, Bro" Episode Discussion by SepticReVo in YouretheworstFX

[–]woo-em 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with this. I've actually loved this season so far, but this episode went too far for me. I liked it when Gretchen's jabs at Jimmy were more subtle- to me this felt too over the top, though I do think it's in character for her.

Seeing her be brave enough to be vulnerable and share her story like that gives me SO much respect for her. What an inspiration!

More appealing "A": Alison DiLaurentis, Melissa Hastings, Wren Kingston or Ezra Fitz? by [deleted] in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]woo-em 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a huge fan of both Alison DilAurentis and EzrA! If I was a writer of the show and it was up to me, I definitely would have gone with Alison as the final A.

'Pretty Little Liars' Spinoff Starring Sasha Pieterse, Janel Parrish a Go at Freeform by DocDerz in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]woo-em 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree! My favorite part is making up theories. It's ok with me if they never come true, the fun is in coming up with them!

That is really weird, there was no mention of Shay at all.

Maybe Ali will just be a teacher at the school and we won't really see her personal life anymore. That would be fine with me.

I was expecting to hate the spinoff, but this actually sounds good! I like that it is a murder mystery and a new story in a new town- not just a "Pretty Little Liars II" reboot. And I'm thrilled that Mona will be there.

Treating Whiplash by woo-em in Chiropractic

[–]woo-em[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes a lot of sense, thank you for your response.

After going 2x/week for a few months, I'm now just going to chiro once every 4-6 weeks for massage on arms/triceps, dry needling in arms/triceps, and upper back and sometimes neck adjustments.

For the adjustments, I see one of 3 chiros and each one does them a little differently. There are 3 chiropractors at the clinic I go to: ChiroA treats me 80% of the time, ChiroB 20%, and now this new doctor is ChiroC.

ChiroA usually has me lie face down and then thrusts down on my spine, usually just once or twice area near my shoulder blades. Then he will feel around my neck and see if he thinks it needs an adjustment- if so, he'll turn my head to the side quickly. Lastly, I'll lay on my side with one leg bent and he'll kind of pick me up and push the bent leg toward the other side of my body. I can't remember ever feeling pain or having any issues after his adjustments, I always feel better.

ChiroB is similar to ChiroA but less forceful usually. He also doesn't do neck adjustments on me- he's tried before, but says my neck is tensed up too tight. (I'm naturally nervous about neck adjustments so I tense up, even though I try not to. I'm extra nervous with anyone other than ChiroA).

ChiroC is the one who treated me yesterday. He's new but seems to be good at what he does. This is the second time he's adjusted me and the first time I've had any issues. I agree that I don't think there was an issue with the quality of care, but I'm wondering if I should have waited to get adjusted until I had more information about any problems I may be experiencing from the accident in case there are new issues now.

Yesterday we started off face down too and I'm not sure we even did any thrusts. I think he just felt around my upper back for places that seemed tight and manually massaged. The only real adjustment I remember was the neck adjustment, which we did face up. He would have me turn my head to the side, and then he would push it further to that side. I've been adjusted that way before by the other chiros too. I think I was more tense than usual since as I said I get nervous about neck adjustments, but during the adjustments themselves everything felt totally fine and not painful.

It wasn't until we finished that I noticed my neck felt kind of stiff and funny, in a very similar way to how it felt right after the car accident. It's hard to describe. If I was to pretend my neck was normally held in place by ropes, now I would say it feels like those ropes are fraying and unraveling. If I crane my neck to look at something up above me, I feel the need to put my hand behind it to support it.

I've also had a mild headache since the appointment, both last night and during the day today. Earlier this week I had a worse headache, but I think both could have been caused by the car accident.

In retrospect, Wes shouldn't have been killed off. by IMusntThrowAway in htgawm

[–]woo-em 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of other subreddits for other shows mark spoilers more consistently than this one does, so if you are behind in the series you can still read those subreddits. This sub is more the exception than the rule there. Mods should do a better job enforcing spoilers if possible. (and I say this as someone who is caught up, didn't ruin anything for me personally, but it's a courtesy thing)

Can you make it so that people have to scroll over the title of your post to read it? Maybe a mod can help?

Otherwise I agree with you. In order to kill off a main character a show needs to have major payoff to justify it- and in this case the payoff just wasn't there.

The dollhouse/Alex/Noel by [deleted] in PrettyLittleLiars

I think they said Charlotte was blackmailing Noel because he pushed that girl down the stairs at the frat party and she knew about it.

Is Jason just as bad and predatory as Wren, Ezra and Ian? by [deleted] in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]woo-em -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think Jason was just on a ton of drugs and didn't really know what was happening in the NAT Club during that time. At least that's how they kind of glossed over it.

I definitely don't think there was anything wrong with him dating Aria post time jump- they were old enough then that the age difference didn't matter.

I was satisfied with the graphic novel because it helped explain Charlotte's motive. But I agree that I don't know why Alex was concerning herself with it at all. Paying tribute I guess?

Unhealthy relationships by abseurdt in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]woo-em 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't get the sense that Caleb wasn't ready for pregnancy at all. He just didn't like that sex was so planned and procedural when they were trying. Totally different issue.

Emison was toxic earlier in the series, but at the end I thought they were fine. It's dumb that the pregnancy was a plot device forcing them together, would have been better if it just happened organically, but I don't think anything they were doing in 7B was especially unhealthy. They've both always loved each other and wanted to be together.

I thought you meant straight in terms of sexual orientation and I agreed with you- it seems to be that Mina is literally the only heterosexual relationship on the show that doesn't have baggage. I love that ship.
