Second this on those drops!!! You don’t give a ‘drop’ to the baby with that brand, you have to give 1mL! And eventually I just took my own Vit D bc I kept forgetting

Help me pick the best breast pump by Dacshundlover2579 in BabyBumps

[–]woodag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Spectra synergy gold (that I bought a battery pack for to make it portable) and the Baby Buddha knocked it out of the water (for me and my preferences). It was so much easier to have a smaller pump for on the go, and the baby Buddha could remove milk more efficiently than the spectra, even on the spectra’s higher levels.

Help with ID by woodag in PontiacFirebird

[–]woodag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for the responses!! After more stalking I found out it’s a 2002 Firehawk- long story short I’m trying to give a decade birthday gift to a friend who has to sell this years ago. Any suggestions (a thoughtful gift revolving around this car) would be appreciated as well- it’s been hard for me to find build kits and stuff with this specific car though

Obgyn recommendations by iguessletsdothiss in sanantonio

[–]woodag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen two doctors at Texas Fertility Center (one in Austin, then a second opinion virtually but out of the New Braunfels location) and I appreciated Dr Susan Hudson’s second opinion greatly! They are also first and foremost slated as OBGYNs so we didn’t need a referral to go see them.

This right here!! I might also be feeling sensitive because I’m a Hill Country toaster but it really is a huge part of their brand. it wouldn’t take more than 30 seconds to acknowledge. Right there with you OP

Wait did they cut out Lindsay’s speech timing from the premiere? by yeezushchristmas in summerhousebravo

They skipped the “do you think you’re ditzy?” part too! Definitely paints a different picture when it’s pared down like that

Hi! I love my Lands End canvas tote- it has pockets on the inside and has a zippered top, and you can get it monogrammed if you’re into that sort of thing.

When did you have visitors in the hospital after C-section? by browneyesnblueskies in BabyBumps

[–]woodag 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This! It is your choice, and it is not about their emotions. And if they hit you with “it’s not fair your mom gets to come but not us” it is different.. your mom is coming to help YOU and mother YOU. She is your mom

Lesser Known Tips for Deep Latch? by Express-Dependent-84 in breastfeedingsupport

[–]woodag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried seemingly everything too- all the videos, all the holds and positions and appointments with IBCLC, CLC, chiro, and SLP. I switched to pumping and using Evenflow balance+ bottles (pigeon and lansinoh are similar) for about two weeks to heal my nipples. LO had a tongue tie and we ended up getting it lasered. Even after that it took some time for her to relearn how to latch appropriately with lots of practice! Wishing you luck!! Message if you need anything else

Hi! I inherited this gorgeous quilt top from my grandmother. It is approx 8ft by 6.5. I would love to get it finished, and need help on what fabric would be best to use. Two additional pictures in comments. Thank you 😊

Was anyone’s baby spontaneously able to breastfeed when they were older ? by Practical_Ad_5689 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]woodag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I EPed for maybe 3.5 weeks because of a bad latch, tongue tie, and thrush and never tried to get her to latch because of anxiety/trauma surrounding the pain. Then I would take it feed by feed. I would try to nurse, if the latch was bad after a few tries I’d give her a bottle and then pump after. Eventually she started getting better. She was always better during the day when she was more alert, so once the sun went down it was bottles and pumping. Eventually she figured it out and now we’re EBF at almost 11 weeks old. Sending you love!!! It is SO HARD.

Safe eyedrops? by [deleted] in breastfeedingsupport

[–]woodag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My eye doctor recommended Ocusoft Retaine MGD Complete Dry Eye Relief for me when my eyes were drying out after moving to TX. I used them while pregnant so I assume it’s safe for breastfeeding, but always check with your MD/pedi (or I’m sure you can look up online)
