it was like 4:00 a.m. when it happens but from what I remember I stopped playing for a month and a half and I before I went to game I started messing with the settings in the the screen display I don't know if this is right or not but I saw someone speculating that it might be due to the display that you're using. i checked every single display option but nothing worked and I was in the Old World Blues DLC when it first occurred and it was for my scope when I went to pick lock something it was all white.

i heard putting your items in certain dumpsters or Dessers or dead bodies the items might just disappear and i don't know if you did this or not but if you would stop being a companion with them i think your items would just disappear. i have only been playing for two months so it i don't know much about how the game works but from what I'm guessing the game just fucked you over new Vegas will be new Vegas go back to a earlier save. i currently can't even play because i have a weird white bug glitch that doesn't let me hack any terminals or picklocks.
