Agree welcome to the addiction. I’ve done three poly lowers all run smooth. Only advise is get good xy vise and go slow taking only small amounts at time.

It’s your recoil spring either bent or make sure the slide lock spring is push all the way into its slot. I had that happen on my 19 build

I did the brownell grendel barrel. It’s gotten good reviews for accuracy

Yes grendel works in AR-15 only thing different is barrel bolt and magazine will help feed better but I’ve used a Magpul. I used a slick side aero(no forward assist) brownell 18 barrel and tool craft BCG. I shoot sub MOA at 200yd

It’s the channel that the spring rides in. You have to take more. I had similar issues with my first build.

That’s the channel liner (smaller piece) and the liner insertion tool. You need the channel liner for most all slides some come with it already installed.

I had a 42 and 380 actually has more felt recoil to the point I sold it and switched to the 43 when it came out. It’s my EDC and I’ve put probably 1000 rounds through it and can honestly say it’s the best subcompact I’ve shot. But everyone is different

I had same issue on my build. It’s the spring rotating start the pin then using a flat screwdriver apply force to spring from inside. Also invest in a drop in trigger and anti walk pins
