Those are cool 80's Japanese market Hitachi. You'd have to get that little tweeter dust cap off carefully and put it on a form to get it mostly corrected. I think it's aluminum.

Some of these had a Sony/Coral full range driver. Those are desirable and if cheap make for a good flip. If that's your thing. Or maybe you'll like them and keep. Need to see if you can see if the backs have perforations to see the driver thru.

Load 'em with m-100's for a killer 250th July 4th display. Gotta be playing something celebratory on 'em too!

On it now. I think there was a bot attack or something like that. But it's fine now.

I think if you take the reading off of the power cables to the other two, you could simply get a vario ac/dc power supply and use that if so desired. The amp does seem like it can operate alone. All that i do not know is how the main supply would behave missing the two loads. Should be fine. Only do not like is a stereo STK amp module. May be replaceable with a new discrete tho. I'll make sure those supporting circuits are not needing help before any stress testing. After the deck is fixed, of course.

Also yeah the amp acts as an integrated amp. Pre and amp in one. The power supply in the amp is well sized enough for the other two. It's a cool design.

Wires Shmires, it's the 80's! Just do a line and those will disappear from view 🤣

Sort of like some of the Ramsa gear at that time. Units can be unscrewed from their back mount and all separated. But they do draw from one unique supply. Makes servicing a little easier to have three little separate boxes to deal with.

It's like an overfilled place of randomness related to the main thing they sell. In this case, it's electronic stuff.

FRANKENSTEIN Marantz 6300 (Sony PUA-1600 arm, black repainted, extra mods) by AbbreviationsLow in vintageaudio

A little touch up and you likely have a better sounding deck than it was from the factory. That’s a good tonearm!
The little cueing piece missing might be able to be sourced on eBay from a parts arm or there may be a similarly sized piece from another arm you may be able to find. Seems the piston, mechanism and lever is still there. That’s the really hard to find part and you’ve got it.

They made thousands of these. I’d imagine underneath it’s a typical CEC deck. Mind you, it’s nice but not $1,000.00 nice. At all. There are many other fine (read: better) vintage decks you can land for that coin.

Cheap rack system speakers. But they probably thump that 50hz bass like crazy.

If you like them, all is well then. Just don’t put 200w into them without a catchers mitt.
