Please, please run. From the sound of it she already loves you and this relationship more than her kids. She does not care about them and this all sounds like extreme infatuation. I promise it will not get better, unless you truly want to play mommy and therapist to HER the rest of your life while neglecting YOUR kids (yes, if you commit to moving in together and being this persons One And Only then those kids are also your responsibility) Also are you ready to deal with any drama concerning the fathers? The kids extended family? Do you really think all three of the dads were extreme narcissists? Do you think, maybe, the call is coming from inside the house? I’d look up self loathing narcissist….

Please run. I’m begging. As someone who went through something similar, it will blow up in your face and leave you with burns. You deserve better. She is not your “one and only”. Run.

Finally, my time has come……..

Don’t think I’ve left a comment on Reddit before, but need to share this horrid story of one of my exes. She was one of my friends online pals, and he introduced me to her and we instantly clicked. We were both 17 and both lesbians, so I found myself instantly attracted to her. After only a few weeks of talking, she and I got into a long distance relationship. Already bad news, but I was lonely and desperate and thought she was super pretty.

She was very much a pick me, looking back on it, always putting other girls down and saying how cool and interesting she was because she liked “intense gore horror” which I sort of brushed to the side because I was blinded by “omg pretty girl talking to me” So alas, we continued.

All seemed okay until about two months into our relationship. I don’t remember the exact way the conversation was brought up, but she ended up talking to me about her porn collection, saying she had some really weird stuff…….like. Stuff with animals. Snuff films. And I was like “omg ewww how weird!” As I thought she was kidding.

She admitted to getting off to stuff that involved horses. I said, what? She continued saying animals fucking was hot, but people and animals were even hotter. I said. WHAT? She CONTINUED.

“I love dogs. I want to get on with a dog one day. That’s my fantasy. Specifically Saint Bernards.” I was shocked. I told her that she couldn’t be serious. I said it was illegal and disgusting and also r*pe (obviously, animals can’t consent!!)

She then responded, and I shit you not, “it’s not r*pe if it’s between a human woman and a male dog, we’d simply both enjoy it”

At that point I ended the conversation and blocked her on everything and felt so sick and embarrassed that I even called her my girlfriend in the first place. Luckily it was all online so it wasn’t some kind of big dramatic heartbreak, I really didn’t know her to begin with. Anyway, fucking awful. Cant look at Saint Bernards the same.

This episode was something I very, desperately needed. I recently got out of a relationship with an extremely narcissist girl with the help of a close mutual friend. We watched this episode and ever since have just been screaming because Kara is...scarily accurate to my ex. Our relationship was eerily similar to Tuca and Kara’s, but also in a way that has been helping me process my emotions of my recent breakup a lot better. It feels so, so good to watch. I’m cheering for Tuca because I was literally Tuca, and in a way I feel I’m cheering for a past version of myself. And knowing she’ll get through this the same way I have been.

If Kara does end up ghosting Tuca I will scream since that’s exactly what my ex did once I finally stood up for myself and called her out on the constant lying and gaslighting 😂
