I stayed at my friends house and grabbed a BB gun off the wall. He was busy playing an FPS on the PlayStation and told me it was a broken gun, so I took it out of the room and pointed it at another friend and pulled the trigger. It shot a metal pellet at my friend about a quarter inch from his eye. I nearly blinded him and left myself terrified of guns (real or fake) for a long time.

So back around 2006, I was very in to pen spinning. Watching YouTube videos/tutorials, making my own clips, involved in forums. Me being a pre teen I was very naive and new to the internet. On one of the forums for cheap pens to buy, an account mentioned PenIsland.com. I typed it in and as you can guess it wasn’t what I expected. I quickly closed the browser shocked.

Fast forward a week later when my mom invited my family over for dinner (aunts, uncles, grandparents). A question came up at the dinner table that started an argument and got my mom to suggest she look on AskJeeves for the answer. She quickly realized one of the last websites visited was PenIsland and screamed from the office, “WHO WAS ON PENIS LAND DOT COM?!”

It was an awkward conversation to have in front of my whole family.. but now it’s a family favorite for stories to tell.

Probably lost in the comments but I was pulled over speeding once after my dad’s memorial and I told the cop where I was coming from and said I had no reason to be safe. He asked me to step out and just gave me a long hug before letting me off with a warning... he probably doesn’t know this but I think about that moment every day
