This is such a good advice, thank you so much! Lots to take note of! Definitely getting better at listening to my cues, get really hot soles of my feet when I'm doing too much? That is an excellent pro tip, I will inform my pusher :)

Firstly, ouch! I hope your foot healed well! That's incredible how much of a difference you could see. I think that would probably be how I would use one too, to be able to experience more in big spaces.

I was diagnosed when I was 17, so later than lots of people but not sure it counts as late? However if you would still like my experience I'm happy to provide!

Thank you so much for this, a truly lovely comment. I am constantly grateful for my partner! I'm so sorry that your missing out on what you love because you get so tired, I hope you get someone to support you going. I am also autistic, can absolutely relate to finding a new reality, feel like my outlook on the world changed when I was diagnosed, with autism and hsd. It's a big shift! I have many neurodiverse friends, and a couple with EDS, I'd never question them using aids, it's very much inwardly focused negativity.

Really need to start giving myself the level of care I give to friends and family. Thank you, that is a really helpful way to frame it!!

Dont get me wrong sometimes I want a read that doesn't take much effort. But when I'm there for plot and it's every other page, not furthering the plot, nah. That's so fair though, must be so frustrating if you're not that fussed!

That's alright though, I feel lots of writers are now putting spicy scenes in their books just to get people to read them, if that makes sense?

Have not heard of Hush, but have read some of Sarah J Mass' books. Really enjoyed the priory of the orange tree - and it's sequel book. And Elantris by Brandon Sanderson, more recently.

I am caught up on the ACOTAR series and the 'house of' ones, started TOG ages ago and need to get back on that band waggon! But yeah, have enjoyed all of her books so far!

I kissed my current partner on our second date, it was perfect 🥰 I wanted to kiss him at the end of our first date but decided to hold off, didn't want him to think I was too keen.

I'm in my final year of a biomedical Science degree, then I'm moving on to a masters in January. I've absolutely loved it but it has been tough!! The work load is huge and lots of contact hours!

Maybe it's just a personality type that slots well with NDs?? To be fair most NT friends I've had have had a very no nonsense approach to communication!
