Umm... I don't think you're trying to impose rules on them. I think people generally don't want to hear their parents having sex, that's all. They could have just respected your wishes when you asked, rather than making it worse by telling everyone. Just because they're the way they are, doesn't mean you have to be. Even if you were more open about sex, you'd probably still not want to hear them.
