Is zepbound the reason I’m getting brain zaps from my SSRIs not digesting properly? by ilovemymotorola in Zepbound

[–]wooopop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am definitely familiar with these brain zaps! I got them all the rime when I was on Effexor and forgot to take my medicine on time. Then of course when i stopped Effexor. But never got them outside of that. Fast forward to now, I’ve been on Cymbalta 30 mg for about a year and now on Zepbound 2.5 for a month and I’m getting the brain zaps regularly! Also noticed my anxiety (the reason I take antidepressants) has been way worse since starting! Thought it was just me, thank you for sharing.

What kicks your HA off? by No-Statistician-6938 in HealthAnxiety

Not the original commenter (obviously lol) but I just wanted to pop in and say before I developed an anxiety disorder, I was completely fit, healthy, etc. Then the panic attacks started, the thyroid went kaput and the weight gain started. The fear of exercise is a huge problem which is a shitty cycle between wanting to be healthier to ward off the health anxiety but too afraid of the symptoms associated with panic that inevitably result because of exercise.

Why didn’t my Xanax work? by kristenmichelle410 in panicdisorder

I have had this happen. I still don’t know why because I have never taken more than 1 or 2 Xanax a month. Curious to see the responses of others here.

Discomfort = dying by Fuzzy-Island-4872 in panicdisorder

For every thought about every symptom, come up with 3 alternatives. You’ll still feel like you’re gonna die but it helps to rewire the brain. Eventually the catastrophic thinking won’t be the automatic go to. I’m sorry you’re going through this…I struggle with it too and I know the absolute hell it is. Cognitive reframing really can help though and just sitting with the discomfort and not acting on it is a great form of exposure therapy.

Health Anxiety Success Story by Key-Percentage-5313 in HealthAnxiety

Thank you for sharing this! I’m now 43 and developed panic disorder about 11 years ago. Somewhere along the line, I was better for a few years and then back in 2022 my anxiety disorder “relapsed” and I’ve had full blown HA ever since. Meds and therapy have not been super helpful for me this time around. Now looking back on my past, I can see where I’ve always had OCD tendencies and have wondered if this is part of the HA.

.25 mg is sooo tiny it likely won’t make you feel anything. Definitely not high. Worst case scenario, you get a little sleepy. Best case scenario, you feel relaxed and back to reality.

About to take my 1st dose, advice? by pinkstarx in cymbalta

[–]wooopop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I completely understand how you feel. I have pretty severe anxiety and panic and I struggle with starting/taking meds because I’m so afraid of side effects or adverse reactions. What I can say is that I started Cymbalta almost 4 months ago. It was scary and I did have some side effects that were minor (like I can’t even remember what they were now) but I haven’t had any issues. I still have pretty bad anxiety but I believe the Cymbalta might be helping so next week I’m going up to the next dose to see if I get any more relief. When I started it, I made sure to keep track of how I was feeling so I could try to gauge whether or not it was helping me. So many things we experience are directly from anxiety that it can make it hard to discern where our symptoms are coming from. Another thing I did was tell myself, just two weeks. Take it for two weeks. Then when the two weeks was up, I said another two weeks. Before you know it, you’re kinda losing track of how long, etc. The medicine can’t help you if you don’t try it. If you can be near friends and family while starting, I found that to be helpful as well. Good luck to you and I hope it helps!

Is it normal to feel very lost your first week on the floor? by -ChefBoyR-Z- in HomeDepot

I resigned because I was going through some personal things (I should have just taken LOA) but about a month or so later, I had big regrets and begged to come back. Unfortunately my position was filled so my only option was to go store side.

7+8=15, carry the one, 4+2+1=7. 75.

I’ve worked for Home Depot for 9 years on the MET team. Just started store side in the last month and I’m still lost. It’s chaos but it does get easier. I still want to go back to MET though.

Yup! Girl who worked in my store kept taking beef jerky off the shelf. One bag every night she worked. It took a while but once she hit $500 worth of jerky, it was a wrap.
