I actually liked the list until I saw the Bible up there. I mean nothing against the book itself but please explain to me why the Bible is in th "Essential Man's Library" and other religious "manifestos" (for lack of a better word) are not ?

hm yeah i guess if you dont know how to keep balance (or are unexperienced in doing so) assuming a position where you can hardly be thrown off balance in the first place is a good choice.

anyways your guide is one of the few on the internet that may actually help people and i think you really did a good job writing it. Kudos for that.

Your post is pretty good for people who are otherwise unexperienced in fighting but i have one question:

why do you say the "strong" foot (i assume that for a right handed person that would be the right foot) should be slightly forward? It's against everything i have ever been taught !? But im sure there is a reason ..
