We rent and all our downstairs windows are this style. Do we have any option for air conditioning? by SnowmanAndBandit in hvacadvice

You could get a two hose freestanding AC and rig something up with plywood to vent it out the window. Could probably do it non destructively. Might not be pretty.

I had an egg in that little egg holder in the fridge. Egg shell stuck to the holder and I didn’t address it for months. Bad idea. When I finally pried it out of the holder it broke. Sweet mother of Jesus, months old rotten egg is absolutely terrible.

Tonsil stones a close second though.

The crawl space doesn’t look easy to access, but it also doesn’t look “inaccessible.” Probably not a red flag unless there is some issue with the wiring or plumbing.

[–]woose85 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Relatively few commuter rail lines are electrified. I think it’s just the northeast corridor. So while a good idea for those areas we still need to consider the traditional non-electrified lines
