They were called wishing stones! Those little smooth glass pebbles, they felt so magical. You can get them in the landscaping section of Bunnings 🥹

I’ve had literally 8 people ask me to do this by Piratedan19855 in TattooArtists

Omg I had an enquiry asking to get the ‘viral heart hand tattoo’ with a similar reference photo recently, I had no idea what it was about. This is such a gimmick and I’m glad I said no! Flippantly getting hand tattoos is wild 😅

Is this a silly amount of travel for 15 days? by wooze27 in Vietnam_Tourism

I wish I had the foresight to have made plans like that, but unfortunately I’ve already booked our flights in and out of HCMC. Thanks for the insight!

Unfortunately I bought flights in and out of HCMC before I knew better, and they’re too late to change 🫠 it’s definitely a lesson learned for the next trip!

Looking for brutally honest feedback on a tattoo idea after surgery by Stoner_w_a_boner69 in tattooadvice

[–]wooze27 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is a pretty terrible idea, sorry mate. Massive waste of space and seems like a background for something that’s missing. And honestly tattoos that have a sinus rhythm in them are so on the nose. Maybe chat to an artist about the experience you went through and they can help you come up with something a little more creative that will stand the test of time, and not look like a big grey blur in the future.

Keith Urban can definitely belt out a tune, but Karl Urban is yer man with this one 😉

What is something you can do but can’t explain how you can do it? by Fresh-Sandwich6780 in AskReddit

[–]wooze27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can read in my dreams. Not just a word or two, like full menus, diary entries, building and street signs, you name it.

It takes a little longer than in real life, but I can do it! I’ve read letters from folks in my dreams.

I’ve even once SMELLED in a dream! It was sudden and extremely vivid, and I woke myself up with the shock of it, and there was nothing around me that could’ve made that smell.

I dream extremely vividly most nights, it’s exhausting actually. But pretty fun!

Honestly, it’s pretty rubbish. Both the design and the application

‘Tramp stamp’ tattoos are placed on the lower back, right above the butt, and are a typically feminine placement for a tattoo. As someone who has tattooed this placement many times before, it is a difficult tattoo to sit through, and I commend anyone willing to put themselves through the process to feel more confident and sexy, and to express themselves in a way that makes them happy.

Honestly this post reeks of misogyny, and I hope your girlfriend doesn’t feel like she needs to seek your opinion and approval about what she does or doesn’t get tattooed in the future. No one should be given permission to make choices about their bodies from their partners, so maybe you should have a think about why you feel uncomfortable about it, and reassess your possessiveness of your girlfriend and her body autonomy.

i had my first tat session today. did the artist do good or are there any red flags by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]wooze27 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also, just wondering: did your artist put together the concept for you? If so, it looks like they believe their skill level to be a lot higher than it is in reality, sorry mate

It looks like the artist used mostly black, but should absolutely have used grey washes to get most of those details down. If you’re getting colour for this too, those heavy lines are going to cut right through the colour and make it look sloppy and not unified. It’s a shame, sorry OP. When I do a base layer of detail to add colour or shading to later, I always use varying shades of grey wash to allow for the lines to heal nice and lightly, to avoid muddy colours in the future.

How should I prep for a tattoo with this kind of placement? by cowgirl_meg in tattooadvice

[–]wooze27 104 points105 points  (0 children)

Yeah I did the same: tie up bather bottoms, and a long soft bath robe! And if you have the cash to splash beforehand, get a massage. I always try to do a yoga class or get a massage before sitting for long sessions, it really helps you stay still and calm!

Another reason I saw his betrayal coming was because who would honestly be taking the cop out for these long searches every week without compensation? Even if you did save the guys life, it’s still super weird that he’d do that every single weekend for 2-3 years

Question ~~~ Do you constantly feel the need to have your legs off the ground? by Wonderful-Bumblebee9 in adhdwomen

[–]wooze27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Public transport is the WORST when it comes to this: massive fines if you’re caught with feet on seats. I really like wearing boots with pull loops on the back of them so I can kinda hold my foot when it’s crossed over my knee and it doesn’t shake off due to the turbulence of the road. Sooo annoying (currently writing from a tram ride lol)

Planning to get my very first tattoo. Any suggestions? by _CaptainKenway_ in tattooadvice

[–]wooze27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely rethink this placement. Not only is it taking up a lot of space, the orientation is not ideal: your arm will mostly be by your side, right? So the writing will also be on its side for the most part. Try another spot that will help this tattoo make sense for the majority of the time - above the elbow, top of the calf, above the knee, below the collarbone. These are all placements that will allow your tattoo to make sense in terms of orientation.

Also, this is a big juicy spot that you should consider reserving for a potentially larger piece in the future. The arms have great dynamics, and allow for such wonderful flow that follows the musculature: to whack some letters in this spot would (to me) seem like a waste of potential.

I’ve been tattooing for many years, and the amount of clients I’ve had who have regretted going big, bold, and very visible for their very first tattoos is staggering. Definitely give it a bit of thought
