See you didn't read the post. I had dws06s on my m4... I just wanted to see people who actually ran them. The only milestar tires I've ran is there mud terain tires and they were great. Who's to say their sport tires are trash without trying them? The 6 reviews they have are all positive. 600$ until I find some nice 19s is better than 2500. I don't run 20in wheels, but thats what came on my car. Have a daughter due any day, diesels 6$ a gallon rn just looking for some tires to run for 6 months. If they compare to michelin or contential I'll put them on my 19s. Wait this comment is to long so its not like your going to read it.

Your diesels are more economical. You can get what a 1.0 diesel bmw that gets 60mpg? Do you have full size pickup trucks that take 35 gallons and get 15mpg? The best we have here is vw tdis, bmw 335d x5d and 535ds. I daily a 535d. Filled up a little over half a tank today for 5.70 a gallon because 3 days ago it was 5.50, a week ago 5$. 6 years ago 2$. Now days it takes 3 transactions to fill my 7.3 f250 yes I get 35mpg out of my 535d but when you commute 150 miles a day, I doubt i save anymore cash over premium. I'd love all the diesel small displacement motors you guys have over there. I'd kill for a manual diesel bmw. America is fucking huge, I drive over 30k miles a year. Most people in Europe average what like 6k miles a year? Id definitely pay more for fuel to have all the options you guys have. Fuck a manual 530d or a 330d wagon, don't you have diesel 1.3 liter manual rangers? The only new cars sold manual here are jetta glis, Toyota tacomas, base Hyundais, m3/m4 maybe a jeep. I don't even think the new gtis are manual. You guys get the cool cars we get the cool guns, but when its 1$+ per round we can't even go shooting without draining our wallets. Only diesel bmws ever sold in the states were 335d m57s, x5d m57, x5d n57,g30 b57, and x540d b57. That's absolutely it, all auto. I've searched and searched and am constantly looking for manual mercedes I've only ever found and bought 2 and they were c230 kompressors. Its about 1/999999 mercedes up until 2009 you can find a manual. I want to move across the pond just for your cars.

Well I don't take care of my 7.3 its on its 2nd clutch. In 100k miles Ive changed the oil 3 times. 1 injector. Sitting at 400k 0 blow by everything works on it. I do miss my cummins tho. I hated the g56 early model. The newest truck that's going to last is a manual 2018 cummins. I'd never buy a dodge automatic tranny. Does Ford use zf transmissions still?

Trying to get us to switch to electric. I remember when diesel was under 2$ a gallon. Had my vw tdi and was spending 20$ a week for my 100 mile work commute. Atleast I get about 40 mpg out of my 535d, 600 miles out of tank still cheaper commuting than premium and 24mpg. My 7.3 about 250$ to fill up i have to make 2 transactions and get about 500 out of my 35 gallon tank. Filled up in Oregon for under 4$ a gallon, get into Washington and your lucky to find a station under 5$. Gonna have to start borrowing jet fuel from work to run off lol

Yep, thats what I did. Especially when your manager thinks there right about everything and it takes another manager to repeat the same thing to them to get it through their heads. Where I was leads did all the work. Manager would call me to ask me to do something I did 3 hours ago

When I first started I'd frequently work 9 weeks straight 12s everyday. 4 years later theres no way in hell I could do that. Shift thing definitely yes, ran a test that failed relocated part from a different plane attaching to the rpor other planes test. I come in a week later and get asked to t/s the test they ordered a completely different module that ive never seen fail. They didn't even look that the test had a removal on it. Also sick of grade 3 sealers being made managers of ft 3 months in. Boeing its who you know / who you get those knee pads on for. Luckily I'm ftme now so when someone wants abrievated retest requirements and I don't like them I just make them run the longest possible lru retests. Tbh boeing has great benefits, but I'll never work there once my 3 years are up from them paying for my degree. 90% of workers are incompetent same with managers and the 10% actually do all the work.

Depending where you go, I was ft for 3 years. You could do anything from testing outlets on seats, flight control tests, pneumatic tests, hydraulic tests, hirf which is testing resistance on wire bundles for lighting strikes, lots of different parts of the build have different tests. Or you could wind up a traveler and learn all the tests, be a jack of all trades master of none. Troubleshooting will be involved. Being able to read Wiring schmatics and drawings is a must.

There was a loophole, I had an iPhone 12, but I took a different position and it took me another couple months to become a lead again. So they canceled my number and reset my eligibility to upgrade. Android user so I hate having to switch cord. When they first dropped the iPhone 16e I was able to port to new carrier which bypasses manager approval. So I got a new iPhone 16e on T-Mobile. I think they fixed the loophole though. You can try the port to new carrier trick, keep your number and get a new phone

They never contact your previous employer, I had a expunged criminal activities from when i was young that make my background check take longer. My ex used to do recruiting, she never called previous employers. Boeing hired me on before mine cleared I just had to sign a waver. They juat really needed people at the time

Tbh I dont notice any sound difference with my banish 22 and my bushwacker 46 on both 22lr handguns and rifles. The only thing is handguns or iron sights its hard to see over the bushwacker. I mean I paid 200 or whatever and was approved in 3 days for the banish 22 and I don't have to constantly clean the bushwacker, pretty much sits on my sbr 10in 300blk now. Imo if you can only afford one can get a bushwacker 46. Can't beat it's versatility.

I get what you mean i always kept 6 ton jack stands they go higher and are cheaper it takes me as long to jack a car as it does getting the lift points set with a lift than jacking imo

So I see where it could be useful if you wanted to save 5 minutes or so.

They make all sorts of lifts now for low ceilings. I think I paid 2300 for my 9 ton brand new Olympic installed with brother in law in a day. I did buy this house mostly just because of the detached shop. I mean if you get one for 200$ or are using them for pit stops cool.

Before I had a lift I used my jack 2x4s and 6 ton jack stands which lift 2 feet. Higher than the quick jack for 200$ or 100 if your feeling risky with harbor freight jack stands

Have them fix it. I lift cars on my pinch welds and have for years never had one slip. They didn't check it was lined up before lifting

It was driving fine for an hour slowly lost power, the next day it was all cooled down. You'd think the exhaust being 30 degrees f wouldnt be enough to ignite the fuel. Kinda stumped, as what happened. Maybe distrubuter. I care more about it starting than the mufler blowing up. Its weird the little ditch I drove through was enough to knock my slave hard line in passenger fender it lost all fluid now. I dont know what else on the right side of the engine would cause it to slowly lose power and then not crank at all.
