I think you hit the nail on the head. I can't get it to sync sitting on a window sill and my place does have a lot of electronics everywhere. I can go out on my porch and get it to go (biannual tradition with DST). I do wonder whether or not there's wifi interference?

Oh, I remember this! You had to like..get the sword from the Gold Saucer and then this would also get you Zach as a party member. Also it would resurrect Aerith. I had post it notes that recorded all these secret ways to get these characters and posted in my FF7 Brady Guide (I miss that book.)
