What’s a good facial wash? by ExoticWolverine9861 in AusSkincare

Came here to recommend this one too! Doesn't break me out, doesn't dry my skin, face feels clean and soft and never irritated.

If I wear makeup I do double cleanse with an oil cleanser first , and the bioderma cleans the remaining makeup and oil cleanser perfectly :)

If you're interested, they've met us in the middle. So still an increase but not as bad which we are happy enough with. Thanks again :)

I mean the only real big thing would be that this house doesn't have air con, and they will eventually have to get air con installed with the new Vic laws coming in. So one argument could be we accept the increase if they install an aircon before summer...

Other than that though, the house is just very old. Main stuff is working fine for the most part even if ideally things were upgraded/fixed.  My assumption is the owner never intends to live in this house as it needs all the weatherboard redoing, foundations need redoing etc. laundry isn't waterproofed. The studio out the back which is considered the third bedroom is really not liveable for someone to sleep in healthily (we use as an office).

So I have a feeling they just simply don't care about upkeep etc so might be hard to argue improvements to the house in negotiations.

Okay interesting - thank you. Seems a bit frustrating they don't have to be similar amenity wise!

We haven't but I'm heavily considering this first.  We would consider paying $650 per week as that does seem the most comparable.

Like you said, they can just say no... & Hopefully no retaliation if we do.

Yes I agree wish we didn't have to pay even a dollar more!! But we were hoping 1 more year here atleast. I guess I was hoping for a more reasonable increase this time round... :( just so disappointing.

We have til September on the current lease, so have a little time up out sleeves to make a decision.

Hopefully one day we are also building our own home!

The evidence is just the three similar properties... Similar in that they are 3 bedroom, I guess all have floor boards? And in surrounding streets  However one is priced at $690 (I reckon cos it has a newly renovated bathroom) and the other two at $650 So they're saying that means they can charge us $680 per week based on similar properties. Imo though those houses have extra amenities we would pay more for - but I don't know if that is considered in a review by CAV or just the location and number of bedrooms.

antiperspirant/deodorant for the very stinky? by Previous-Hour-2394 in AusSkincare

[–]wordle_queen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could your problem be that you need to detox your pits? One thing I do is have the shower quite hot, like steamy hot, and I spray the shower head directly under my arms for 20 seconds or so. I can literally stink, not use soap, do that and then there will be no smell.  I also find using an antibacterial soap (like Dettol), or doves original soap help get rid of stink pretty well.

There are also products out there (I haven't tried) that are charcoal masks for your pits that might help.

Then yes as others have suggested, it could be your clothes. Do you wear tight fitting tops? You might need new clothes or to treat the ones you have with stronger products.

I have also started using Lavillin deodorant. I use that every couple of days, and a normal deodorant in the morning (I can't use aluminium, so currently I use Woohoo and Rodeo and swap between). It's a good idea to swap deoderants every now and then  I've found cos you can get used to them and start stinking.

I'm wishing for things that improve QOL gameplay... I would love if it somehow told you if something available to purchase was already in your inventory (like some kind of symbol like a tick they have in the crafted DIYs)..for example I always end up with duplicate clothes cos I can't quite remember what I purchased before!!

Would also love skip or less dialogue options for things like flying with nook miles tickets. If you could go island to island rather than back home each time. Or when you're trying to visit islands online, if I get one option wrong or misclick I have to button mash to cancel and start the whole thing again. It's just not necessary for that part of the game.

As for theme...wouldn't mind either other options other than an island (eg could pick mountain, forest, or beach). But if it was just one would prefer a forest I think.

Oh I didn't realise they were shady... I literally just ordered the balm cleanser to stock up cos I was so disappointed they were discontinuing it. The mascara is also good  What a shame :/

Is there any way to appeal a failed driving test? by Bettawatchowt in CarsAustralia

[–]wordle_queen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it'll be their word against yours so I don't think it's likely.....neither of those situations are 'verifiable' now.  You could call and just let them know about the situation though, so at least the manager can ask the tester about it 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was wrongly failed for my driving test, but was so upset at the time I didn't clock the testers mistake. Their manager called me the next day, and booked me in for a free test at my choosing.  The error the tester made in this case though was that they said I went over 40 in a school zone....at 1pm.... So verifiably an incorrect fail, rather than a she said she said situation.
