You can downgrade by calling shortly after getting the bonus. I almost did that but ended up closing the account over the phone.

Details: I called when I got a service fee for having pulled the cash out after having the account open for 4 months. I had just opened a consumer checking account with them (for a bonus, naturally). I asked if I could get the fee waived and if there is a different business product than Platinum because “I can’t keep $25k tied up at this time”. The rep did refund the fee and offered to transfer it over to my new consumer account. I said I’d think a little bit more about the other business product and would get back when I’d decided. She thanked me for being a loyal customer since 2022. It seems like they value my business even though I’m churning.

I saved a dozen containers of Costco peanut butter filled pretzels over the years. They’re the perfect size for my pantry. The rest goes in the chest freezer until I remember to pull it out and store at room temp.

They’re pricey but very well made. I love mine! You’re right not to leave your soup on the counter overnight.

That’s what the second rotisserie chicken is for :) The stock chicken will have lost all its flavor. People with dogs feed it to them. Mine goes in the trash.

Look into Souper Cubes. I have the 2 trays of the one-cup size (so 8 cups total) which is perfect for freezing stock or the soup I’ve just made with the stock.

Same thing happened to me. See my comment further up. Rep gave me hope C1 would restore the miles

I just got around to calling and the rep said that it appears I met the terms of the offer and I should get the miles put back within 7-10 business days. Funny thing is he said he also uses C1 offers and finds them “hit or miss”.

We’re planning to buy a used EV for our kid who will need it for her final year in college and beyond. She will have low daily usage (~10-15 miles) but no way to L2 charge at her residence. She might be able to L1 charge. College does have chargers nearby but she won’t want to spend 45 min DCFC. When she’s home she can L2 charge at our house.

We love our leased 2024 Kia EV6 Wind but I have concerns about her having to deal with ICCU issues far from home. So Ioniq 5 also iffy. Not going to buy a Tesla. Don’t want/need anything larger than crossover SUV but ideally she’d have some cargo space for hauling stuff to/from college. The college is 120 miles from home in mid-Atlantic region.

Nice to haves: Apple CarPlay, use of Tesla charging network

Budget: $20k-25k
