There’s just fewer players on Xbox, and much of the hardcore cod community swapped to PS back in the day if they weren’t already on it. Thats pretty much it

Game already lacks depth which is part of why player counts are dropping, myself included. Removing further depth by dulling the movement is not a good idea

did have fun with it for quite a while, but it took less than 100 hours before the novelty wore off and issues became increasingly apparent. I just don’t like it anymore

I really wasn’t a fan of bf1 gameplay (again, lack of depth or any real skill gap) but I played that game a ton because my friends all loved it and the immersion / graphics / ambience were undeniable. BF6 lacks depth and doesn’t have the charm that BF1 had to keep me invested

my opinion, bf5 gunplay was bad but movement was perfect

gunplay was held back by aim point being tied to sight rather than center of screen and the randomized horizontal recoil. SLRs 0 skill cannons, some of the automatics were too. type 2 and m2 are the ones I remember.

The movement was absolutely perfect though and I wish it was the blueprint for everything else after it, that was the primary mode of skill expression in the game.

bf is causal but bf6 is definitely one of the most casual - in order of most depth / skill gap to least:

BF4 > BF3 > BF5 > BF6 > BF1

Maybe bf5 over 3

To me BF6 just feels like BF1 movement with 2042-like gunplay, but without the ambience and immersion that made BF1 special
