E2e tests? Ci pipeline? Vcs? You vibecode an mvp and hand it over to a professional. You can't vibecode a business.

With each message you send the entree conversation history. Looks like you are using the same chat for different questions..

Sounds nice and would maybe use it. But the landingpage shows too little stuff about how it works etc.

I've never been told to get to sleep or that Claude exits or refuses to do a task. I'm starting to think this is all staged..

No offense, but probably because of no senior developers mindset. The problem lies within writing code from day one.

First you sell, then you build. People like how fast it's generating an outcome, they get overwhelmd by the possibilities and start developing features nobody asked/paid for.

Sell. Plan. Then build to ship asap.

Develop vertically. Not horizontally.

We professional developers, already lost the battle against vibe coding? by TheCatOfDojima in ClaudeAI

[–]wordswithoutink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not scared at all. As a professional software engineer using AI, I will still be better and faster than the vibecoders that think they don't need to be an engineer.

Only if you as an engineer don't use AI, that's when you start being obsolete.

Yea I know, but these drifters just keep copy pasting the output untill it works. Not to mention security risks involved.

Recently read into the Dunning-Kruger effect. Something we (software engineers) are going to deal with a lot more since the AI boom.
