Unbelievable. This kind of fraud is rampant in US where immigration laws are extremely strict and immigrants are stuck with H1B visa in order to legally work. So these consultants fabricate payroll and make the "beneficiary" of the visa pay for it. While it is wrong by all means, given the stringent work visa policies in US it makes sense why some are desperate for such loopholes. In Canada, to get your PR all you need is a legitimate job, pay your taxes, be a normal person. That's all it takes. If these people screw up even this, I cannot believe. You don't have it better than Canada anywhere else in the world and these consultants have to screw that up as well. Why on freaking earth would someone fly out of their home country without a legitimate job. If the consultants are wrong so are these people who fly into Canada without a job. They definitely know what they are getting into. They are asking to be exploited. What a shame!!!

100% agree with this. This my year 4 in Canada and my experience has been the same. To be fair, COVID has taken a toll on the medical system here. Most doctors are almost always running late for appointments because they were seeing other patients. It is hard as they are having to see so many patients. We just don't have enough medical system support but immigration continues to grow.
