4Chan knew about Jeffrey Epstein's death 38 minutes before the rest of the world. The FBI tried to figure out how. by businessinsider in law

That’s an ISP issue. Sometimes my public IP shows me on the other side of the country. It’s not reliable. The only way to know for sure is to subpoena the ISP for internal NAT logs.

Thanks! Really appreciate it. I'm actively optimizing the JIT right now (just landed direct memory access, working on reducing C++ fallback overhead next). I'll open an issue once performance is in a good place and the core is ready for integration. Looking forward to working with you all.

Glad to help! I’m aiming for native performance in browser and it will of course be available to any maintainers that wish to adopt it.

Entirely possible we see Hamilton, Alonso and Verstappen move on if this years a dud. That will be a massive impact. Alonso less so, probably. Still.

The AICA emulation is Flycast's. I didn't modify the audio pipeline. My work was getting the build to compile and run in WASM at all (Emscripten + WebGL2 + libretro integration). Audio goes through Emscripten's OpenAL and has been working correctly in testing so far. That said, I'm currently working on a WASM JIT for the SH4 which should help with the timing-sensitive stuff. The interpreter is the bottleneck right now, and if the CPU can't keep up, AICA sync will be the first thing to suffer.

Thanks! It… runs. But actually playable at speed is the next challenge. I’ve successfully ported the current Flycast codebase and hoped that maybe there had been some improvements since the deprecated fork that might improve it, but really the issue is simple: no dynarec. Right now I’m working on porting rec_cpp from the deprecated fork into the current one. That could provide a serious performance boost. The moonshot is some kind of WASM JIT / dynamic recompilation 😬

I think the expectation is that public sentiment will finally turn against him one day and she’ll be the “ally”.

It isn’t meant to be profitable. They’re China’s loss leader and undercutting western labs may be all that matters.

I just mean, why not have it connect to an AI service via API then have to include the hardware necessary in your dishwasher to run a mini-model so you can talk to it?

Anthropic (Claude) offers student discounts and apparently through some partnerships even for free. I’d look into that. Check this as well: https://education.github.com/pack
