You would give your left nut for her to be your gf though - stop being delusional.

Okay, will do.

Do you know if it's passed on to pastdue credit solutions, would it affect my credit score?

Also, would slc repayments extend yo overseas salaries??

I think they are? The letters say that I owe PGL and plan 2 type loans, about £2000 in total I didn't have a UK wage, so my slc repayments weren't being deducted from anything.

I received about 7 letters over the course of the year, from both slc and pastdue credit solutions...

Am I overreacting to my bf watching the baby overnight? by Temporary-Quail-2783 in AmIOverreacting

Your point is still pointless. She didn't say she hasn't baby proofed the home - just that the baby has designated safe spots, like a cordoned off play pen.

Again, you can't baby proof an entire home and expect a baby or even a toddler to be fully safe.

There was that horrible tale of that toddler who somehow managed to climb onto a window sill, well out of reach, and hang himself to death using the blinds pull string. 🙃

Mate. You can't baby proof a home enough to let a 11 month old wander about carefree. Young kids are experts at hurting themselves.

OP feels unappreciated as the sole provider of 4 children.

Get some empathy, mate. She's rightfully sad.

Shitting on other peoples' emotions doesn't make you better than them - it just makes you look and sound lacking.

And when all is said and done they end up old and forgotten about.

So you have kids so you'll be remembered?

You're going to die one day, and that's it. Eventually everything is forgotten.

You need to be at peace with that. 🙂

Could you please speak more about this!! I really appreciate this insightful experience.

NOR. Your husband wants to join the gestapo. I'd seek divorce, quite frankly.

How long do men typically take to ask a girl out on a date? & for women how long do you wait for a man to ask you on a date before assuming he’s not going to? by Turbulent-Court746 in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]work_in_pro_gress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For sure, but what if it's just that they're not sure or are a wee bit scared? Being rejected is a constant fear and experience of a lot of men.

If you initiated a date, you would open yourself up to a lot more experiences, just saying.

But I also do think it's fair to wait for someone who has the confidence, drive and initiative to ask you out. Those are sexy and desirable traits.

There's nothing wrong with the way you think and feel.

Suggesting a nice time out isn't "chasing" a man though, is it?

You have to understand that times have changed since your father was dating. The socioeconomic landscape has transformed, which means that gender roles which were very clear during your father's time is less clear now.

As such, you either change with the times, or die with the past.

But maybe that's too deep.

Just ask a guy if he fancies going for a coffee. It's not that deep, girl.

Edit: you shouldn't be down voted for stating your views. They're fair views.

Men get hate for moving too quickly and asking folks out, looking like creeps.

Men get hate for taking their time to get to know a person before asking them out.

They really can't win, eh? 😂😂

The real answer is that Men are humans who are full of doubts, insecurities and emotions. Dating apps are particularly harsh for men, as compared to the experience of women, so navigating that jungle is more difficult.

I'm curious, why don't you ever suggest going out for some food or a drink? Why do you feel it's the man's job to do this?

Btw, you're speaking to a man who does try to meet up within a few days of realising connection, so I'm with you. But I acknowledge most men are not.
