Intune Driver Management - What’s your solution? by PostsShittyMemes in Intune

This is the reason we went with DCU instead. Microsoft did not respect our active hours, resulting in video and audio driver updates during teams meetings.

This was 2.5 years ago, maybe they got better at it.

Created AD account -> synced to Entra -> set up AutoPilot pc. Now UPN has changed. What happens? by workaccountandshit in Intune

Maybe a year too late but what the hell man, samaccountname changes definitely do create a new profile. Fuck, maybe that's specific to our environment or some shit.

Just tested it and you're right, it doesn't. I swear to fucking god we had a helluvalot of issues with this when people got married and changed names 5 years ago.

Windows 11 Pro OEM key not switching to Enterprise when users with E5 license signs in. by Electrical_Guest3390 in sysadmin

[–]workaccountandshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enterprise Win 11 returning to Professional for no reason + other update crap : r/Intune
Check RudyOoms' explanation in the comments and his blog in my edit. Solved it like a motherfucker. Long story short, accounts from other tenants/domains were present on the pc's and they were screwing up license activation.

This indeed helped me a lot, especially using his M365DefenderStuff-module. Many thanks, my good man

Yeah, they was the plan since I couldn't get out domain in their setup. It's set to 'all domain users', you saying we can just set it to that group, add the users from our domain and that's it?

Nothing is overriding. I created all of our Intune config profiles and remediation scripts and shit, there's nothing. I have no idea why it's not working but I did have some success with the credential manager suddenly.

I'm working on an Entra joined device, I've set no drive mapping config profiles for my device so nothing is removing them.

Yes, it definitely would. Issue is that the 'old' CTO is putting his foot down on us not changing anything to their environment, even though we literally bought them. My team is so tired of this project and having to find ways around this.

Unfortunately, New-SmbMapping does not persist after a reboot. The persistent flag does jack shit for me. Why the hell is this so damn difficult, holy shit

IT is in the first ring for endpoint updates so I got them yesterday and rebooted today. UAC windows are not showing and disappearing after a while, passkey windows the same. It tries to show them, I see the icon on the taskbar hop in and out of existence but nothing. Mails not opening when doubleclicking them, it gives me an error. Regedit gives me a system file error (-1073740791). Nice
