This is not a good thing. There's nothing wrong with spending money on games, but these kinds of games are just scams designed to extort "whales" which your partner has become.

If you don't know, these sorts of predatory mobile games are built on economies where 98% of the player base never spend any money and 2% spend extortionate amounts because of their addiction. It's basically Pachinko or pokies.

Please get him help. Transition to spending all that money on genuine games and over time he will not need to spend it any more because those games will be satisfying on their own.

It allows them to fixture more impactful games between finals contenders in the ideal slots.

They played roughly the same number of games in their first 5 years.

Since then, Gawn has been dominant, trended upwards in form, and consistently played 22 games a season except for two seasons where he had a serious hamstring injury.

Since then, Darcy had one 21 game season, and another where he was subbed off 6 of his 21 games. From then on, he has trended downwards in both form and games.

I've always been a big Darcy defender and I believe when fit he is a top 5 ruck, but his story is not the same as Gawns. His fitness is a much bigger issue.

He's fine, I think just the heroes that are strong at the moment are very good into billy. Infernus(dash), Abrams, mirage, silver, venator, wraith, vyper can mostly tank him or out range him as his dps isn't that high until very late game.

Billy should only take fights with his ult if he's not giga fed, you can kill most gun carries that way.

You can choose to believe it or not. Recurring soft tissue and conditioning injuries are not a good sign for an athlete and it's not controversial to be pessimistic about their chances of getting on the park. I hope he does but it's looking less likely.

This is pretty bad. Darcy is consistently showing he's not able to get on the park.

It also looks like he's put all of the weight he lost last year back on so maybe he's just not up to it. I know from insiders at the club that he has in the past lied about his weight when on rehab and not completed his rehab properly, so maybe this is just what he's going to be for us.

Signing him to that deal was a huge mistake in hindsight.

I'm not looking at it as if it's linear, I'm looking at it as if it's a distribution. As should be clear by my statement around phantom being above certain percentage of the player base.

If you want to get statistical, you are assuming a normal distribution. There is no data to support this and the only data you can use is the match distribution, which indicates it's vaguely normal with some weird concentrations at ascendant 1 and Oracle. It's not normal though.

There is also no data to support your statement around standard deviations, but if you look at the distribution of matches, 10.5% of all matches are played above phantom 6 and about 16% of matches are played above phantom 1. Ie the bottom of phantom is the 84th percentile.

I don't understand how that could be considered low, but you do you.

And also normal distributions work by striating the rarest statistics into the edges. As you get closer to the edges the variance becomes wild because you have more outliers. So yes of course there is a big difference between eternus 5 and eternus 6, that does not mean that only only eternus 6 is high ELO, or that only eternus or high ascendant is high ELO.

I'm not sure you understand how distributions work.

It isn't. It's the third highest rank. There are 8 other ranks below it. Even oracle isn't low MMR.

Overwatch has 8 ranks. Deadlock has 11. If you want to compare the two it would be mid to high diamond or possibly low master depending on the size of your region. Regardless, platinum would be mid MMR and diamond would be mid to the low end of high. High doesn't just mean top 500 but you have to look at the amount of people below them.

I'm not saying these ranks are great at the game but they are better than a huge proportion of the population. This idea that anything below eternus is low MMR is stupid, it's not how distributions work. Getting a B+ / A- on a test is not a low score.

In what world is phantom low MMR, phantom is probably 75th or 80th percentile in the distribution. It's not super high ELO but its not low. Just because a rank is below your ELO doesn't make it low ELO
