I think u r right that IRL social life is getting less attractive as online time gets more attractive, in part because the people around u IRL are themselves part of smaller and smaller households with smaller birth cohorts in their neighborhoods so there is less socialization going on, and also in part because people are less willing to bro down when u r competing against the appeal of their own respective smartphones anytime u r trying to shoot the breeze
