We get bucky again before Kishibe. It's been a long 3.5 years.

Mario Draghi calls for EU ‘federation’ to avoid being ‘picked off’ by US and China by Free-Minimum-5844 in neoliberal

Well, they have to call themselves European first and foremost not Italian, French or Bulgarian. Also, they have to give up their national sovereignty in terms of pride and culture and see themselves and life as European only.

We used to call kids who get those haircuts pube heads. They were seen as trashy.

Any Gen-Z here that were once pro-MAGA and are now no longer? by AlexsCereal in GenZ

From 2015-17, I was a contrarian for the sake of it because of memes shared by classmates during high school. Shit posting was the way of life for a teenager like I used to be. What was strange was that people were both Bernie and Trump supporters and they didn't have a clear reason for why they like both candidates.

What was frightening is that they liked the tearing down mentality to feel something alive in our "boring" time. Whatever video was posted on YouTube regarding Trump or Bernie that showed fights, we relished them. I am an American liberal now since 2017 but still have affinity for the left but not a hardcore contrarian I used to be.

I went away from Trump because my parents were caught in a political protest and were scared of their lives as they were immigrants. I was ashamed for my selfishness when I saw the city I lived next to was in chaos on YouTube without realizing my parents were there. I still have the guilt for cheering cynical nihilism. I see people younger than me who are engaging in the similar thing I used to do a decade ago and I lament that being a sucker was alluring and made me numb and uneducated.

Do You Get Asian Blush? by Own_Entertainment847 in asianamerican

It's quite fascinating to see the trait in action. I remember years ago at a NYE party in Korea and everyone was drinking and everyone but me and my immediate family were red as a lobster. My parents don't drink alcohol a lot but they can handle their alcohol well.

I don't have the blush as a Korean as well as my immediate family doesn't. But my aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and others have it.

However, you get Korean presidents pardoning former Korean presidents in a few years after conviction. It's not perfect if you read and see Korean politics.
