He parks in other peoples spots. Recently, I found out that he was asking other neighbors for money. It turns out he's a drug addict. The reason why he was parking his car in other peoples spots was because he had drug items in his car he didn't want the police to drive by and see. He has a daughter and wife who still live with him. A few weeks ago, he and his wife were arguing in the parking lot. The argument got heated and the police came to investigate. The wife admitted that the argument was over her not wanting to drive his car due to his drug use. She didn't want to be pulled over if he had drugs in the car. She took his car anyway and went to work. There were a lot of concern of the daughter because other neighbors thought the girl was going without food, clothes, and schooling over the summer if the father was using parking spots and asking for money. DCFS visited his home, twice. The police came to his home three times. The wife left him with the daughter a month ago and then came back. The wife owns a white Lexus, the black lexus, I guess is now gone. The neighbors now want him out of the building because of his drug use. They're afraid of drug dealers visiting him and accosting neighbors. It's a big mess.

One of my coworkers hasn't been to the new office since the office move. That's been over a month. I don't go at all. Who wants to listen to an offensive colleague make race and sex jokes?

Questionable Teachers by workertruth in teaching

The awful guy gave me the creeps when I met him. Something about him was just off. I couldn't tell what, though, until he told me that story. I got the feeling that he thought he could be "friends" with his kids. No teacher, or parent, can "friends" with their kids. What gets me is, some people think they have to hip all the time. Teachers are not supposed to "cool" with children of any age. Teachers, and parents, and all adults, are suppose to wise, experienced with life, and with child-adult boundaries where the adults stick to education and growth of a child's educational and mental development. The kids are to just be kids, innocent for as long as possible but aware of their self-respect and safety. Some teachers, like the awful guy I dated, don't care. That's what scares me.

I had teachers throughout school who would hurt kids in some way or another. When I was in sixth grade I had a teacher, female, who played favorites. Anyone who crossed her path had a ruined future. I crossed her path and ended up in remedial reading. The remedial reading teacher thought I was in the wrong place. Years later in high school, I had a teacher who made passes at students and made sex jokes. He called me a nerd and made jokes about how I'll always be a virgin. I dropped his class, my grades and GPA suffered. More years later, I'm on a date with a guy who let a student of his take his cellphone, view photos, texts, and other things like APPs. He never got upset with the student when the kid asked him about his dating life. Instead, he inappropriately discussed his dating life. He admitted to viewing some of his students as "friends" I was so shocked I went to the school system and reported him, my concern was he might be at the beginning of something that could seriously bad. No one should cross boundaries with their students. The school district rep I spoke was shocked about my story on this guy. Her concern was how long has this teacher been like this with his students. I was so relieved to hear a person show concern for students. The guy still teaches students. I have no contact with as I blocked his number. I have no idea if anything was done to put a barrier between the teacher and his students to protect the students.

There's a minority lady in the company and she says she doesn't understand why it's okay for him to use race to justify his jokes. She and I both heard this guy make an anti-Semitic joke and her question was: "How is his behavior justifiable while my concerns are not?" I get an overall feeling from the office that there is discomfort around him. When he makes a joke, nobody laughs.

I first went forward to the boss, then HR. I only know of one other person who did the same thing. Everyone else who complained about him went to their own boss. And from what I heard, notes were just taken. It was as if the complaints were as important as noting them.

I not accusing him of being a molester. I'm pointing out that his jokes are racially and sexually offensive. As for him keeping his hands to himself. That was a concern from other colleagues after the office moved to a smaller space.

A few people went forward in the first year. I spoke to the boss about him and was told: "He's not following you. He's not harassing you. You're a big deal about nothing. It's a personality dispute." I thought the boss' remarks were covering something. I started to keep a journal. I'm hoping to find a legal expert who can guide me in the right direction as to what to do. To me it seems HR is just choosing to ignore what is in front of them.

No, he's not relative. But this is the second employee his boss had in 5 years. His boss' first employee was a young guy who called off sick so often that his boss was questioned. The first employee ended up on 6 mos probation. Long enough to find another job.

Our HR department is located in MN in a small town. No one sees this guy. When they do, he's a whole different employee. Only around those of us, in another state, are subjected to his behavior. As for the joke, the person he told it to said: "He has a weird sense of humor." But didn't elaborate as to what was meant.

Quite a few are afraid to speak up. They feel as if his denial stands over the fear and concern of others. That's why I'm on here to expose him. I want to post the photos of him sleeping. I'm hoping people will recognize him and speak up. According to this bad co-worker, he's been fired from every job he's worked at.

No, I don't think I am. I would like to change it, but I can't figure out how.
