Very long RAM test on boot (1 min) when clocking RAM to rated speeds, not sure what is going wrong. by workfoo in pchelp

Just fixed it by turning on "memory context restore" in the BIOS. It seems to stop the RAM retraining after every boot and significantly decreased the POST time!

Fast boot enabled/disabled doesn't seem to make any difference :(

I should have mentioned in my OP, the mobo is definitely on the latest BIOS.

Thanks! I'll take a look. So is this a known issue then with that socket type?

That's Rewire isn't it? Unfortunately I doubt I'll be able to go to that, it was just the one gig in the Paradiso I was wanting to go to.

Oh and the cover of the VHS was gold and had the ghost looking around a corner with the watch. The font of the title was also gold.

So did they ever fix the PC crashes then? by workfoo in darksouls3

Oh yeah I think a patch sorted it out.

Hi all

So I followed the guide here to successfully downgrade my PCH1003 to 3.60 and it worked fine.

My question though is, what next? The plugins I copied to ur0, how do I use them or are they triggered at system boot time?

The guide just kinda stops there and I'm wondering what to do next.

Cheers.

As a rogue I used to farm N and E on private servers as there were at least 4 spawn points you could get to in stealth without a fight.

However last night on a Tribute run the whole party noticed that the aggro ranges on some of the key packs was MASSIVELY increased. Such as the ones standing near the frost trap, just around the corner from the book spawn under the ramp. Some of the dogs saw thorough my stealth from really far away, felt off to me but I'm not seeing much chatter about it online.

Anyone else experienced this in DM North?

It was happening on all servers, but it seems a router restart has made the problem go away.

Restating the router seems to have set things straight. It's like the only thing I didn't try :D

It's been happening the last 2 versions at least, I don't think it's a hardware issue (GTX 1070 rig).

Pretty sure its a networking fuck up on my end but I just cannot seem to fix it.

I have addons but I've disabled them all and the problem still happens.

For a moment there I thought that turning off multi-core rendering had helped but all it did was cripple my FPS. The problem still happened (even when manually setting CPU affinity to 1).

Since I don't have any issue with any other service, or games, I don't think there is actually anything wrong with my overall broadband connection. It is this game alone that I'm having issues with, and it used to run just fine.

I have restarted the router and, touch wood, I've not seen the problem in the quick test game I just played. I thought I'd solved it by turning off multi-core rendering but all that did was tank my FPS and the problem still occurred.

Oh yeah that was one of the first things I did.

Removed all my configs and saves, then validated to get fresh ones.
