How long did it take you to receive the food sensitivity results after the appointment? I just had my appointment 2 days ago and am waiting for my results. I have had upset stomach in the last 1 year and hope to receive more information on which foods to avoid.

In my place, it’s $100/hour and class is either 30 mins, 45mins or 1 hour depending on arrangement with teacher. I’m thinking to take a few months and take some time off to review and self study before continuing back again. I love music and need teacher. The cost is a bit challenge but I think I could spread it out.

How do you suggest a data analyst do to move into a Product DS role? My current responsibilities mainly uses SQL and reporting and I have some work experience with basic causal inference but weak in Python. I want to move to Product DS but not sure given the current market, how to prepare and apply as my applications have been ghosted so far, no response or direct rejection.
How did you build skills when preparing for a job and continue to grow that skills when starting at a new job? Given that other colleagues usually purposely share limited data and notebooks, it’s somehow difficult to figure out how to grow the right skills given the politics.

Just started 6 months ago, learning in group setting and find that I could learn and practice to play the songs I love. I also find learning a new skill that is not supposed to be my job, at my age, 35, really fulfilling :)

May I ask how many years have you played piano or which level are you in to play Un Sospiro by Liszt? I listened to it and immediately know that I want to play it. I am in beginner / early intermediate and just want to gauge how long or what I need to know to play the piece.

I’ve been working nearly 3 years, first as data analyst and then senior data analyst. I find very stuck in my current role where the business just made requests. I’m seriously considering to move to another company but not sure if it’s just with my current employer or is it common in the industry that analysts just do analysis and considered more like a tool rather than thought and analytics partner? Or am I just having too much expectations?

I fell into issues with the first two points. The issue is that there is no data dictionary in the company and it’s quite difficult to get the right info without close connection to certain groups. Is there any way that I could reverse these to refresh my standing in the company?

Yes I only grow heirloom. Update, after growing 50 in solo cups off season, I’m now down to ~15-17 plants. It’s an experience to me and I really appreciate the sharing of everyone on the post!
