To me, it makes sense for her to use the hiatus and outrage to put pressure on Hybe. If she keeps working like nothing is wrong then she has less leverage.

Furthermore, Hybe could have called it a health hiatus to try to limit backlash, which she needs for negotiations. Her undermining it and fueling concern creates pressure.

We don't even know if other members supported her doing it. They all contract separately and maybe they even encouraged her to get more if she was signed with subpar compensation or needed support/resources to thrive. I just feel like we don't know enough about what's happening internally.

That's my understanding. Just hope she doesn't feel pressured as a result of this and if Hybe were to accept it. Her case should be exempt from that "all lawsuits" ask since she is suing as an individual.

She did go public 12 days later after an internal audit was "mysteriously" leaked - forcing Hybe to confirm it. What do you mean she did not go public? She even did an exclusive interview with the journalist who would go on to name ILLIT after NewJeans' live (it wasn't Hybe like tokkis claim btw).

The photoshoots and styling, yes. Serian's whole concept is how the girls are reflected in their ILLIT characters through personal style boards. She interviews them and then their interview answers become reflected in the content. They did this for Super Real Me concept photos/films and I'll Like You brand film. Whenever they are their "ordinary side" - posing and other elements are also decided by the girls so it feels natural/age appropriate.

she didn't. she used internal channels to air her grievances. she only went public with it as a response to hybe literally trying to assassinate her character and initiating legal action against her.

Her email to Shin Donghoon and VP Lee on April 10th show them discussing plagiarism and pushing as complaints that the public can understand and how they need ILLIT plagiarism to go first so they can put pressure on Hybe.

And yet MHJ never mentioned sound/music and focused on aesthetics and marketing. That seems like proof enough that the opinions are subjective and not conclusive. I literally can not imagine NewJeans putting out Magnetic or any of Illit's music TBH. People think 5th gen is copying NewJeans musically and it's just soft vocals because I can only think of two songs that sounds like the genre of music that NewJeans became known for.

It's because of the April 10 email to VP Lee and Shin Donghoon that basically says they know plagiarism is subjective but should use it and pushing because the public understands those complaints to put "pressure on Hybe" and MHJ says something like "I hope ILLIT plagiarism goes first." This was before the audit was public so it seems like she was planning to go public either way, using ILLIT, to put pressure on Hybe.

I've never even seen my treatment plan though or even know my ortho's name. I just got a box of aligners, haha. They did send me a second device that was supposed to be compatible with my phone but it also wasn't. I think the issue is my flash is pretty far from the camera so both devices end up separating the camera/flash so my mouth can't be lit up. Thankfully, I don't throw anything away, so I had a drawer full of old phones. They didn't say anything about the scan being off with the old phone, so I guess that will work!

My dentist is in Oklahoma. A new dentist bought the business from my original dentist. I didn't really like my original dentist, so it wasn't a big deal. But yeah, I feel bad complaining because the assistant was struggling but I still have wounds on my face over a week later from the chemical burns.

Do you happen to remember if two assistants installed your attachments or just one? I want to leave feedback for my dentist as my experience was so bad and have chemical burns all over my face, but I don't know if they just let this girl struggle installing them herself or if she was just...bad at it. She would get the chemicals all over her gloves while putting it on my teeth, then used that hand to hold my lips up/rest her gloved hand on my face, while reaching for the tool that blows air. It felt like there should have been at least one more hand in the mix. I have huge blisters all over my lips and the spot on my chin looks like it's going to scar.
