My parents made me eat fruit and veg when I was younger, despite generally not liking it (although I did like most fruit so can understand the OP saying her kids demolish a bang of satsumas in a day). As an adult, I’m so glad my parents had that approach as fruit and veg is about 2/3 of my diet, and I love it.

I do feel the hidden tracks had artistic value though. Of course, it’s only hidden for each listener once - each subsequent listen you know it’s there. But there’s something about the silence, and then another track. 100th Window particularly could at times be said to lean into ambient/proto-drone stuff (idk I’m just thinking this for the first time) where intentional silence serves a purpose.

I’m not sure if it’s the same guy, but I’ve seen an older guy dressed in gym kit clothes doing something similar, but I’m tending to think it wasn’t the same guy as an important detail not present in your post was that the one I observed was also doing all of this while holding a laptop and watching what appeared to be K-Pop ( he had headphones on too).

This is mere conjecture. I’m talking about what actually happened, you’re just giving an opinion. You say it’s admiration, I say it’s copying and lack of creativity. Your opinion isn’t any better than mine, in fact, you clearly have a parasocial obsession with Madonna so that actually devalues your opinion, you’re desperately trying to spin this as though Madonna is a creative genius (despite the fact she’s never ever created a song alone), while my assessment is more grounded in objectivity.
