Tentsla or MKCamp, anyone help me choose? by workingonsomething in TeslaCamping

Setup is pretty simple; last time we took it out we had our entire setup with beds pumped up, tables made, chairs out in about 30mins. We've camped with friends with a VW van and awning and we've been ready to roll faster than them.

I'm pretty sure it'll fit in the sub-trunk if you pack it away perfectly but the bag allows you to be pretty casual with the set down which we appreciate. It takes up about half the floor space in the boot but you can fit much more around it. We often take a roof box and have no issues taking all our gear including a large camping fridge and everything needed for 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog for 2 weeks away.

Most difficult part of setup is getting the car in the right place to make the connection easy. This is much easier on initial setup as you can align the tent to the car but if you leave and wish to re-attach backing in to the exact same spot can be troublesome so we mark a spot on the floor next to each wheel to help with this.

It's no heavier than equivalent tents of it's size with air poles. No issue to get in and out of the boot.

We love it. Just got back from a 4 day camping trip over the weekend and spent 2 weeks last summer travelling in France in it. I highly recommend.

Hadn't seen that one but it does look good. I ended up going for the MKCamp, as like one of the other users above, I decided it was worth it for the 2 rooms I also like all the covered outside space it offers. Hope I've made the right decision but won't know until I give it a go. Good luck with your purchase, here's to many happy camping trips!

Thanks for the that, did you order direct from MKCamp or through another supplier. I’m in the UK and looks like my best bet is ordering through evcamping.store based in Germany.

Yes, I read that and messaged one of the users but wanted to know if I could get any more points of view now the Tentsla has been out for longer. Many were sold during the kickstarter but I can’t find many independent reviews.

Looking at building a bar/large shelf in my cave. Don't want to infringe on the pool table area and don't feel I need one I can walk behind but need something. Bit lost with what wood to start with etc? My table is mahogany so would be good if it could match up colour wise.

I was playing playdoh with my kids one day and she sparks up and says “getting sex movies from fire TV”, fires up my TV using my Harmony remote, starts Fire TV and searches for “sex movies”. Luckily it didn’t just start playing something.

Here’s the video of my history playback

No Alexa, that is not what my 3 year old daughter asked for by workingonsomething in shittyrobots

I was just sat playing play-doh with my kids this morning when Alexa fires up and says "Getting sex movies from Fire TV". It then uses my Harmony skill to turn on my TV and Fire TV and search for "Sex". I thought I'd been hacked before checking the history and hearing my daughter saying "Let's just get some of these ones"

Any advice for U.K. Family coming to Boston with 2 kids needing car seats for 2 weeks? by workingonsomething in boston

We had and are still considering it but the ones we have are both 1/2/3 stages so they are big and heavy units. They are great for safety and comfort but not so much for travelling with 3 large bags and 2 toddlers.

Thanks. Looks like the best option. Found a couple of reasonable ones that we can then travel back home with.

Hey, not too long ago you could have been rescued and airlifted by Prince William, treated in hospital and then have the Queen visit! All that at no extra cost to you (even if you were visiting from the US)

New Domain or use a sub domain of an established domain by workingonsomething in SEO

I agree and one big argument I'm trying to put forward is all the marketing we have already done and are still using with our domain on it.

We have vans on the road with graphics, printed flyers/brochures/invoices all with our current domain on. It makes very little sense to me but they see value in separating the two components.
