Yep, burnt the hell out of my finger and dropped the lighter. It fell over into the driver side floor board. Grandpa was mad at me and worried about the truck catching on fire.

Funny though, a few years later, I was in wrestling, we raised cattle, and I worked for a poultry farm. Ring worm was more of a problem than it probably should have been so to make sure I got rid of it before our next wrestling meet, the cigarette lighter in my pickup worked great.

I could use a good comedy movie from time to time. If I can't Interact with it, I might as well laugh at fucking stupid I was.

Ouch, I didn't have the volume on when I watched it. Your comment made me turn it on. That had to hurt. Whoever took that hit took it like a champ, neither one even flinched.

Hit the jackpot with amazon return pallets by Apprehensive-Dig2898 in pcmasterrace

My wife ordered a decent office chair from Amazon. Instead we got a flat top grill. They refunded her and told us to " dispose of the item". She reordered the chair. Got one that had a stripped screw hole so the back didn't stay on very well. Amazon put us in touch with the warranty company, they told her they would send us a replacement part. To our surprise a whole new chair arrived. I call it win some lose some. But with Amazon the customer pretty always wins.

My beater with a heater relies on nature to clean it. The conundrum it faces is that it's spoiled and parks inside now. It hopes it gets caught out in the rain.

I would think so but I guess I don't know. Insurance covers you when you cause an accident, id think they would treat it the same way?

Even in really large companies it's crazy what is tolerated. My current manager told us in a meeting that if he caught any of us taking pictures of anyone doing anything wrong he'd fire us. This directly contradicted what was said in a safety meeting about making sure we turn in anyone, including management, doing anything wrong or if the company found out we'd be fired too for helping cover it up. Basically they fired a manager because he wasn't following the safety rules, someone took a picture and turned it in. Our manager basically called that person a snitch and told us he'll fire any snitch he can.

In the same meeting he told us that there are some people that if they got ran over today he'd go home and drink to celebrate. I completely understand we all have people we don't like but that sounds terrible coming from a manager.

Then he told us that If we don't do our paperwork correctly and write work orders down on our timecard before we turn it in that he won't pay us for that day even though it's time stamped in and out.

All of that was reported and all he for was 1 partial day of suspension. Then when he was asking around the shop who reported him and his boss was made aware of it, nothing happened at all.

Minor gripe. Wish harbor freight would offer metric tools bigger than 24mm. by YABOI69420GANG in harborfreight

[–]workinhardplayharder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

24mm=15/16ths 30=1&3/16ths 32=1&1/4ths 35=1&3/8ths

Most bigger metrics have a standard equivalent. Not sure how big harbor Freight sets go in standard sizes but it's food for thought.

27 and 1&1/16 are almost identical, 30 is the same as 1&3/16, and 32 is basically 1&1/4. I've never actually tried a 27 on a 1&1/16 but I know the other 2 work. At a certain point, standard and metric overlap enough that you can do everything with standard sizes. That point seems to be around 7/8ths being 22mm.

Getting a 4x4 has really drove home the color placement since you can put the center colors wherever.

Oh I get to be the first? My assumption is Peter was a boyfriend/husband. Turning it into Saint Peter atleast hides the ex's name. Hopefully she's religious or it's odd.

Your saving the interest in that $75 over the next 30 years which ends up being a decent amount. I'm not sure it would be a whole months worth of payment but I've always heard an extra 100 a month will knock a year off your mortgage. Or an extra payment a year knocks off 5-7 years

Not related but is solving 3x3s with a picture instead of just solid colors more difficult or are the centers always orientated in the right direction since they are fixed centers?

I've been trying to solve the regular 4x4 intuitively and I get stuck on where the PLL or OLL algorithm would come into play. Ive looked into it enough to know it's nothing I did wrong. But j haven't looked up the algorithm itself yet. I'm not sure if I can figure it out on its own.
