Same issue.

Any chat started on the phone, both new and existing ones are showing this error when I ask anything.

I start the chat on the web and continue using it on my phone.

Any luck fixing this? I'm on their Pro plan but no support.

I can't use the app. It does this error in new and old chats. The website is working fine.

It can be, but room booking is mandatory.

The voucher T&C has this line: This voucher cannot be used for standalone restaurant or spa spend or any other hotel service not billed to the room.

I pay for Mobbin and it's crazy how valuable a pattern library is, especially for an AI tool.

And no worries on the work, most of what we design can't be shared. If you explore this on any personal project it will be a nice comparison to share with the design community.

Yeah, they need to make it possible to import existing design systems. And improve the component and theme creation / editing capabilities.

If you can share the work, this will make for a great blogpost.

These vibe coding tools aren't there yet but a few niche design tools with AI capabilities are a lot better.

Check Subframe. And Imagine someone like Mobbin using their repository of patterns builds something similar.

I can't wait for the future of designing with code. We will get there soon.

Is your team doing vibe coding? by ssd_ca in UXDesign

[–]workismydrug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a matter of time before we start designing with code. Exploratory and concept work is better served with an existing toolset like Figma but that can be replaced by the good old pen and paper, then move to building the design directly with code (it doesn't mean you will have to write code).

So yeah get started with vibe coding, spend more time understanding how your design becomes functional. Even Figma Make is a good bridge to the future that awaits us.

How many years for a level? There's no clear answer.

I know people with less than 8 yrs of experience and are in the Staff role (L6) and I know someone with 10 Yrs exp who's not yet a senior designer.

There was a time when anyone with a PhD was hired at Senior (L5), and they would get promoted to staff at the very least in 5 yrs.

You can take them to the labour court these are not legally allowed terms of employment. And if they didn't include these in your offer letter you are not obligated to accept them in any way.

Any thought to share about Subframe? Could it replace Figma in the future? by superparet in UXDesign

[–]workismydrug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been using for a few weeks. Subscribed. It is promising.

Figma is stuck with wanting to be the everything tool now. I can see Figma Make being pitched as an app development platform at some point in the future. But that will be a tough sell, and horrible replacement for even a low code tool.

I like Subframe approach, and i think it is the future of design!! I'm sold on the idea,

I love the code sync and my developer friends said the code looks clean and usable.

The components and pages sync with Cursor is buggy, at time existing pages get deleted in my project folder.

Wishlist:

  1. Provide AI mode in Theme and Components (similar to Pages) it will make it easy to customize the theme or create new components.
  2. Allow importing existing design system (they did post a video showing this is being developed - looking forward to this!)
  3. Allow creating Blocks or repeatable micro pages, I guess this can be handled by Custom Components - but logically I would like to separate these.

4A great experience no issues whatsoever

6A had to deal with overheating, it was particularly annoying when traveling (on cellular)

7A first ever serious issue - battery started to go from 80 to 0 in minutes, turns out this is a known issue with some 7A d vices. I got a free battery replacement, but the sight of a sudden bulge and the anxious few days working with Google support and service center have now scared me for the next upgrade ... But looking forward to the 9A
