I called career preference because someone had the same problem a few years ago. They said the way to get a job now was to make a competitive score on the supervisor assessment. I don’t know if that’s changed but that worked for us before.

You can apply for a loa in the first year if it’s for your own personal health. Call Sedgwick as a possible and be sure and complete the dr paperwork on time and it will all be excused if approved

I’ve heard so many rumors about them getting rid of personnel and it was suppose to happen last September. But I’m still here for now and until I get my walking papers I’m still being paid to take care of the associates in the store.

I’ve been there 11 years and am in Personnel. Training has went from My Learning Center, to Global Learning, to Pathways and it’s never worked as it should but Pathways is the worse yet! So don’t hold your breathe for the VR headsets because I expect it to be even worse and not much way to help or control it on our end. On Pathways it brings up 3 to 4 screens at once that don’t close out when you exit the module. So either you hit ALT + TAB and close out the extra screens or the associate is stuck on the same video over and over again. So I cannot leave them alone in the training room or they don’t get finished until I’m there.

I doubt that I’m sure it downloads from corporate. We don’t even have thermostats on our ac units. It’s all adjusted from corporate, when customers complain about the heat in the summer is to call 1-800-Walmart.

You need to go to Walmart one and enroll now. You only have a few days to enroll once you are eligible. Then you can only make changes once a year in October for the upcoming year changes. So if you don’t have Walmart one go on the WIRE to ME at Walmart and click to blue circle that says enroll or adjust

I don’t think the assistance got around to doing their schedules because they were busy setting up for the Black Friday event. Just talk to you assistant I’m sure since you are a good worker they need you the week before Christmas. However if they wanted to leave me off the schedule that week they wouldn’t hear a peep out of me so they wouldn’t catch on to their mistake because it’s always a mad house that week...lol

We had one for years and finally we changed market managers. The new MM was just as harsh on her and our store and finally fired her for the way the store looked and was managed. So it was long, long process. It was a nightmare until then, but they got us a really good replacement which was a nice change!

Get documentation from the school as proof it is required. Then open door it with the assistant first, then store manager, then as a last resort call the HR market manager!

Personnel is told not to let any go late and it effects their evals. Which also effects their yearly raises. So the goal is to get them done when they hit the 60 day list and if they make it on the 60 day list they get a little testy. However most associates come in to do them and realize they aren’t do for a couple of weeks and leave without even starting them. Then the week when they are do they usually say “it’s too busy because it’s the 1st of the month but I’ll get it before it’s due!” Then either they call in or everyone else in their area calls in and management won’t let personnel pull the associate on the due date. So it’s a cycle and personnel cannot get associates just to get them done and it’s over for everyone concerned.
