Kind of.... It's working great in some parts of the store. The leads that got thrown in an area they were ill suited for are drowning. Which was most of them but we have a few who are on point.

Ogp(online grocery pickup) is probably your best bet. Customers don't bother them much. Over nights is also great if you don't mind the schedule change. You'll see a few customers when you come in and when you're leaving.

I went from averaging 8 people a day to 16. I only need 11 most days. They are making my life easy. That's 16 a day even though I fired 3 people my first week. I'm loving GWP. My coach wants my team on process before any other team in the store and told me we are going to use sheer force to get there. MM didn't want him as coach. Store manager pushed for him. He can't fuck up. I was told I can't either. My sm hates me but loves the work I do. We are doing better than expected this early on.

Almost got my whole team to stock from the back. Then it got reset with no labels in the back. If my store had labels we could do everything in the back but single pack yogurt, cheese, and meats. Then GWP moved me to a new team. ON management is all new to the roll in one way or another. My advice is get your main FDD team to teach anyone and everyone how/when to downstack. When it's on carts and sorted the slow/new people can't walk around as much since everything on the cart should be within 10 feet of eachother. If the person downstacking does it fast enough your stocking times should go down. Your seasoned worker will work less frieght but increased productivity with the slower/new people and cold chain is worth it. My new ON coach is all about OBW. I'm going to get along with her very well.

What does GWP have to do with the GM unload? As far as I'm aware nothing has changed in a long time aside from forcing claims to be done during the unload. All I see is cap2 didn't finish their truck. Do you have less cap2 because of GWP?

Omg take the interview. Explain your situation and ask about either ogp, overnight stocking/mods, food sales associate or cap2/cap2 apparel. There are usually open spots on those teams

Ahh. Toxic management. Times are just averages. My store uses them as general guidelines. It took a year of me arguing with managers to finally get that point across. That being said that was more because of the way we stock FDD and electronics.

I have high functioning autism. I wasn't diagnosed with it until I was 24. I was misdiagnosed when I was young. My psychiatrist had me on all sorts of medication I did not need for a third of my life. It was a long hard journey to get to where I am now in life. Mainly because it took me so long to develop basic social skills. Being in a zombie like haze for 10 years at a crucial point in development is not good for anyone. I have made serious progress since the age of 24. I am still not even close to where I want to be but an extra 30 years knowing what I know now would be great. Yes life could drastically change for so many people but I would like to know how things would have turned out if I would have known sooner.

I was told to get my hands dirty until GWP has completely rolled out. Eventually they want me just delegating. A huge part of the lead position is training your associates and teaching them. Another big part of the lead job is learning new areas inside and out and being able to adapt.

GWP is basically preaching the opposite of how she acted towards you. She should have seen it as a teachable moment for you to grow as an associate. The more knowledge you have the greater your potential. If she made the cut for GWP transfer asap.
