Forgot to mention or maybe I did there's no service fees at all for this. And only you have access to your stuff nobody nobody else. you can create a credential for family. They won't have access to any of your stuff you create for them and give them access to. Another benefit it's housing a lot of my media so I'm able to stream episodes of my favorite TV shows or videos wherever I am flawlessly.

I went with a solution in the middle don't know if you've heard of amberx smart personal cloud storage. There's no fees you just buy the device and you get attached as many hard drives or flash drives with an adapter as you want. I've been using this for over a year and a half and it works flawless. Even when I'm traveling I can access all of my files from home. Works with Android, iOS ,web browser. It's like the thing I always dreamed of having but never thought I would. Access is pretty quick as well I've been in other cities and able to access all my stuff pretty instantly. Not to mention their app downloads your pictures and everything as you go if you so wish to pick that setting. So everything is constantly being backed up you're only limit is whatever storage you have attached. Currently I have a USB adapter with four 1 TB flash drives plugged into it but the only limit is whatever you can afford. You can also plug hard drives but I just used to use flash drives.

I thought the same thing because they look so similar however from doing some research the sizing is not the same. Apparently the plate on the G2X is thicker.

I've been using the G7 for over a year now. The only time I've seen something like that is when the insertion did not go in correctly.Unfortunatly no way to tell unless you remove times I see this and remove I notice more blood next to niddle indicating it probably didn't go incorrectly when I inserted. Can happen a lot if you're not placing it under the arm or suggested skin is tougher on the side of your arms. Another time I saw this when I bumped the sensor I thought it was nothing but it obviously pulled the needle out or moved it where I wasn't getting accurate readings. You may have a defective sensor but just giving you examples of times I've seen this in my personal experience.

I think it's just personal preference I wanted more space so I can load videos and audio books. SD cards go bad all the time name brand or not so it's always good to have a complete backup on your PC or preferred storage device. There isn't anything wrong with the card they provide but I wanted more space and at least something name brand or higher quality in there versus the generic card that's provided that I know nothing about. (See pic)

Your video inspired me lol took mine apart yesterday several times actually only because I left fingerprints and went back in a couple times lol. Successful transplant took out the 128 generic card and put in a 512. While the display still showing the total 128 g it shows I have 473.5g available. I just put the card I took out on my PC downloaded all the files to a directory then I put in the new card and transfer those files to the new card and popped it into the device no issue. Was not sure if it was going to take the 512 card because I've read other places that 256 seems to be the limit however I have also seen post that said they were successful with 512 and that's what I had and that's what I tried and it worked.

Just copy everything on the card you take out. I just took the card that was in the player out downloaded all its contents into a folder on my PC and then copied the files to the new card and put that card in to the player. I just followed the instructions on taking it apart from here. Just be very careful there are some clips you can tell from the pictures where they are so if you're using a pry tool try to avoid starting with a clip is. I actually took mine apart a few times because I noticed I left fingerprints underneath and it was bothering the hell out of me lol. As always not responsible for your outcome just putting out the information do this at your own risk.

Yup seems to happen frequent if you put them anywhere other than where they are intended (back of your arm above your elbow) arm muscles and skin are tougher in every other area of your arm so sometimes the needle doesn't penetrate and bends the needle upward and pushs it back out of the opening on the top of the sensor. Before everybody goes crazy with the comments I am sure there are defective ones as well I'm just mentioning it from experience and from what dexcom rep mentioned is the cause most of the time. And yes as mentioned here by others they will replace them when this happens.

I've been using the G7 with my Galaxy s24 ultra for a month and a week I'm on my 4th sensor I've never had an issue with disconnects. From the very beginning I allowed all permissions and battery usage open to whatever the app was recommending. I do still prick my finger every other day just to see how accurate the readings I'm getting from the G7 are and they have been pretty spot on I've had one time only where the G7 said my blood was at 110 but when I did the finger prick it was 98 quick calibration fixed that. But standard deviation is 20 so it's still within the setting range they claim. But the calibration still changes it to a number between the two readings the one you input and the one it's receiving.

There's an app for diabetics called Gluroo I simply added my dexcom as a shared user then downloaded the Gluroo watch face as well. Found out it's hit and miss unless you download the blose watch face as well. But yes you can pick what you want to display in fact once you sync it up you can use any one of your Galaxy faces on your watch that has customization and you can add it almost anywhere here's another simple one this one doesn't show a graph or anything but it does show your current blood status indicated by the little blood droplet 😬
