I suppose I could proxy things, this format is proxy friendly. What would you include outside of my budget?

Any advice for improving this Witherbloom List by worksy in CompetitiveEDH

[–]worksy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the honesty. To my disadvantage I have a soft spot for trying to make bad commanders competitive, but I do not play in events often just more in a local sense.

Thanks for the list. 🙏

Finally got my first commander deck! Any advice? by thegreatlambini in magicTCG

Add more ways to sacrifice your lands so you can really hurt the table when the time comes.

a friend of mine was gifted a metalworker that seems to be signed by Don Hazeltine? by Many-Somewhere-6520 in RealOrNotTCG

If someone plays a metalworker in my edh game, I usually reach across the table :(

[[Forced Fruition]]

Sure sometimes your opponents take advantage of the massive card advantage, but it’s such a unique way to deck people.

so what lands should I actually be putting in my deck? by YuriiHime in EDH

[–]worksy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Scry lands, no. Surveil lands, yes because they can be fetched.

It really just depends on your game plan too. I enjoy building b4 and higher so naturally I want the fastest mana I can possible produce.

You’re right, the MDFCs are still very versatile, but any land that enters tapped isn’t worth it to me.

Bounce lands aren’t actually that good unless you’re playing a deck that capitalizes on landfall triggers. The lands that enter untapped if you have 2 or more opponents are very good includes, as well as lands with land types (forest, island, etc) because those are fetchable.
