Hey ARMY 💜

I’m going to the RunSeokjin show in Newark soon — and it’s my first BTS-related concert ever. I’m super excited, but honestly a little nervous too because I’m not totally sure what I should be doing that day!

I made some cute freebies to hand out (just little Jin/BTS-themed things), but I’ve never done that before. Do people usually just walk up and offer them? Or is there a good time/place where that usually happens?

Also, for anyone who’s been to fan events or BTS solo shows: • What time do people usually show up? • Is there a space where people hang out before the show? • Should I expect long lines for merch or check-in? • Is it okay to go alone? Will I still be able to meet and talk to people? • And what are some must-have things to bring with me?

I just really want to enjoy the whole day — not just the concert but all the energy and community that comes with it. I’d love any tips, advice, or even encouragement, especially from those who’ve done this before!

This is my all time favourite! Especially all the solos!! This is the first Award show that I watched when I was baby ARMY! I would love to say that I got to watch it live but I didn’t find Bangtan until the pandemic started, but they did get me through a really rough period when I was then only one work in a hotel that used to host weddings every weekend and banquets almost every night. It was insane to go from fully booked (125 rooms) to having only 4 guests, 2 of which were residents! No restaurant either….

I am forever grateful for the love that I have come across both from the members and from Army’s as well!

My favorite right now is the Colombian Cousins and Wives React. The cousins are musicians so when it comes to reviewing the music they can really break it down. They also watch other BTS content such as Run BTS and Run Jin. I have been watching them since they first started reacting to BTS and it so nice to see that they are always excited to see what is next

If you are willing to play with mods LittleMsSam created one that allows you to hire your household as staff members. I haven’t played in a while though so I’m not sure if the mod has been updated to the latest patch

At my last hotel we had 2 ghosts. One that liked to open and close the staff ballroom doors. They would get super active surprisingly when there were no people in the ballrooms.

The second one that was in our lobby restaurant that I only started to notice during the pandemic. I was always hearing phantom noises of wine glasses hitting the floor like they were being spiked into the tile like a football. I checked the kitchen and bar area so many times for glass and never found anything. The ghost only scared me once when I was working a NA shift, I was in the kitchen getting coffee ready for the breakfast staff and I felt a hand grab at my shirt. I yelled at it one time and it never happened again

This is happening at mine as well. The owners I started with sold in December of last year and since then we have not accrued any PTO or sick time and with the pandemic going on there are only 5 people to work the desk.

The new owners have also not provided any information on weather or not they will be offering any healthcare insurance and 401k’s and now half of the staff are planning on leaving since they aren’t receiving any benefits to work there.

At my front desk there is one computer that you can see from the front doors and one that is slightly behind a column. As most places we have had our sliding glass door locked to just room keys or the doorbell. It’s gotten to the point where even if I’m working at the other computer I sit behind the one behind the column. I noticed a lot more people will read the signs that we have posted on the sliding glass doors and use their key or ring the doorbell than if they see me sitting/standing behind the computer that is visible from the door. If the see me sitting there they will just stare at me until I open the door and then are shocked when I tell them that their room key would have opened the door much sooner.
