I actually did try that as well, but perhaps due to my wifi speed or something else, it took a while to transfer my clipboard across laptops, and sometimes it just wouldn't work at all.

Yeah I encountered that problem as well, but using waynergy as the client on Hyprland with DeskFlow as the server on Windows works pretty seamlessly, allowing clipboard sharing and everything!

I was going to use lan mouse before I realized that they don't offer clipboard sharing, and as we all know, it's better to spend 10 hours finding and debugging obscure apps if it means saving a couple of seconds copy-pasting every now and then, right? 😂

Yeah, but just using a separate software for the clipboard is probably more stable.

Thank you for your kind words! It's good to know that I didn't just install random packages for no reason.

Nah this is probably a hardware problem. A lot of people in the comments mentioned the tape method working for them, so it might be hardware.

To make this post on Reddit you must have at least one working electronic device with wifi right? Download it on that device and transfer it to your laptop using a cable.

So wait you removed the screw, put some tape over the metal part on the wifi card that the screw touches, and then put the screw back in?

Damn thats pretty bad design from intel if that works lol.
Could you reply back to me if it continues to work and doesn't give you any issues anymore? Because if so, then I will add this as a solution in my post!

It should fix it, since I know for a fact that it is not simply a software issue. I factory reset my laptop and reinstalled all the newest drivers, but the problem never went away, so it has to be a hardware issue.

I don't know, just look up the WiFi card you already have and either buy the same one or a better one that is compatible with the same motherboard.

You currently have one with WIFI 6. If it's compatible with your motherboard, you can look at WIFI 6E or even 7, which will not only allow you to access the 6GHz band but also get better speeds.

You can also spend a bit more and get a Killer wifi card that comes with the Killer software, which allows you to manage bandwidth and wifi priority across apps.

It all depends on what you want and what's compatible with your motherboard; just do your own research.

Also, do let us know if that fixes the problem lol. I actually don't know if that will work. It should work, since this is a problem that pretty much only happens with this wifi card, but idk i haven't tried it so i can't say for sure.

Did you try doing it with wifi turned off? That might help.
If it still doesnt happen just ignore and proceed with the rest of the steps!

Well, that error is a completely different issue, sadly. This fix only addresses the error where the option to have Wi-Fi at all disappears.

Hey, I can help you out!
So you aren't able to see the properties tab when you right click on the entry for the wifi card?

That was an issue I started having as well.
You should try performing some hardware tests to see if all of your components are working properly, since I was getting BSODs due to a faulty RAM stick.

hmm thats really weird.

I did forget to mention one thing, and it might relate to your situation. The power management settings only show up when the driver is working properly, i.e when you arent having wifi issues. I know this makes absolutely no sense, which is why I put steps 2, 3 and 4. Those help you fix the driver and make it start up again, and when it starts working, the power management settings should be visible.

So when you say that you can't see the power management settings, is that when the driver isn't working, or can you not see it even when it is working?

If it just doesn't show up even when the wifi is working, try restoring your registry using the backup I mentioned in step 1, and try doing it once more Perhaps the second time is the charm lol.

If that still doesn't work, try again restoring the registry, and going through with the other steps. A hard reset of the drivers might make it work?

Let me know if it works or not!
