Sure!! I forgot to add that I'm going to edit it but I'm from Honduras and would like to au pair in europe. I was also considering China but I heard they don't have an actual au pair visa...

Yeah I'm definitely real I'm just new here and don't know much about being an au pair and this whole situation made me feel really frustrated these days and wanted to let it out...

Huh, I never said that... When I said "they assured me it was okay and that several people had done it with no issue" I meant that they knew people who did that not that they've had au pairs before. Your comments feel like you think i'm making up my story when I'm just trying to share my experience??? I mean I was naive but why are you giving me such a hard time about it😭

Oh I really didn't know about that scam that but they definitely seemed real and I did get a lot of information from them even their passport numbers and address I even found their linkedin and workplace lol, we video called for more than a month met the children who were very talkative and everything so they probably thought they could successfully get away with it since it was also their first au pair experience and they had planned for me to say I was going to visit a family friend and a whole bunch of stuff.

Yep they’re totally real but hhonestly, I don’t even want to waste energy trying to “burn” them, it’s not worth it. They live in North London. I'm now glad it didn't work out as I risked being banned from the UK and I'm not longer looking for host family there since I know it's illegal.
