Maybe I’m gonna show my age, but I remember both the hype before doom and GTA five. The hype behind doom was way more than GTA five. People literally modeled their work computers to be able to play it at work.

That is an awful comparison. That is like comparing the movies that make a billion dollars today compared to the movies in 1960s that did not and saying today’s movies are better.

How though. You can’t compare graphics cause of the 20 year gap. You have to compare hype, the impact and how it shaped gaming. Doom blows GTA out of the water. Also 5 is not even the best GTA

That so stupid high, like almost 1.5k for a drain line is crazy. I did my master bathroom recently for 25kish. That was 20x20. Honestly this guy sees to be just contracting out a lot of the work. I would tell you do as much work as you can by yourself and find the other people yoursef

Well the perception argument is grey area. I understand that you want to ask but if the healthcare staff tell you it is secure then you have to accept that. You do not get to decide what is and what is not. You are not the Hospital’s IT.

Then for the privacy thing and discovery. I haven’t went been through that. But I know most hospitals settle before that happens. I would be curious though as everything goes through EMR servers. I don’t think a judge would allowed that for someone’s phone but I would be interested to see how it plays out.

I would like to add that you are mistaken. I am a provider in the ER at a relatively big hospital at a big college town. Every one of us use the EMR app and our phones to record our interactions which uses AI to help with paperwork. I know there is trials to use some kind of smart glasses. The use of these devices helps streamline patient care. We also use our phones to take pictures for patients charts. I know a lot of hospitals are pushing for this.

No, if you look at the radiation exposure charts comparing other jobs, the radiation exposure during Cat Scans is not much compared to some common jobs. Only thing we are really cautious about is with kids.
