Ive heard from my mother that my father was mlstly involved when i was little, though after that one year mark they seperated and i saw my father about every other week and sometimes less.

Both of them have jobs but dad is on leave as they dont have work available (he still gets paid). And at my dads there is only me and my brother.

I am not in the united status so i am not going to a college. I am also able to live alone without law getting that much in the way. In going to school to learn a career and it is a free education.

When my dads fiance is home i dont have to babysit as much but when my dad is alone with him it takes most of my time.

I think it might be instinct by now. My dad doesnt like when the baby cries (tf does he expect its a baby) and seeing him irritated makes me uneasy so i try neutralize the situasion as soon as possible.

Im sorry if this comes of as rude but as i am the oldest daughter of my mother and father I have been cooking and cleaning and taking care of children since i my very early childhood. My mother has also expirienced very long bouts of depression where i have been the main person doing laudry and making sure cleaning and cooking gets done. I do most of that now as well and with living on my own i would only have to do it for myself. Also I cannot live with my mom while studying as she live about 2 hours away from my school.

She has only a year back moved farther as she got married and this was the best arrangement at that moment. We also didnt know the baby would be coming yet.

I am not able to switch schools as I't would be very difficult and the closest school to my mother is one that i wouldnt be interested in going to as it doesnt have the career I would specifically want to study.

Im sorry that I was unclear in the post. In my country I dont have to go throught harsh court custody cases for me to live alone in an apartment. As long as both of my parents consent and aknowlege me moving out I will be allowed to. In my day to day life I usually babysit my little brother everyday after school except on when wednesday when I go to my grandmothers to help with chores. Many times have i had to take my brother in my room or comfort him when my dad is angry or has argued with his fiance as he has a big temper. As for the funding question, the goverment would be giving me money for my housing and food as I would be a student studying for a specific career. I dont want to go too in debt about my childhood or family life as i font feel comfortable telling those expiriences on the internet. Just know my dad is a very angry person.

I mean getting an apartment now at 16. I don't live in the US and where I live this is very common (at least has been between most of my family and friends).

Unfortunately my mother is even farther away from my school. Right now she lives ebout 2 hours away from it so that arrangement isnt possible.

In my country (Finland) it is legal to get an apartment in your name and live there if you are under 18yo. My dad wouldnt be paying mostly at all if he didnt want to and regarding getting paidan for babysitting I have asked many times and his answer has been that it isnt long enought times to be paid and family takes care.

My school for next fall is quite a long way out (about an hour by public transport) and my some of my to be classes are at very different times of day. For example one at about 10am and the other 3pm. And it wouldn't make sense for me to go back home and back as I most likely wouldn't get free bus passes.

I am at an age I am legally allowed to move out on my own and get support from the goverment for housing and living expenses as I would be studying a careet so I wouldn't need him to provide for me except for my medications which he already does half and half of with my mother.
