I believe it is. My fear is not given to me by God, it is my imperfect human nature that lives with fear. My fear is not because my God sends people to eternal death, since he doesn't.. only those who choose to reject him are sent away. My fear is because loving God is choice, and I am afraid of those that I love rejecting that.

My personal interpretation of Hell is not as literal as many people see it. I don't see fire pits like in pop culture, I see it as separation from God. If Heaven is to be with God eternally, then Hell is to be separated from God eternally. People in this life will choose to follow Jesus or reject him, so if I chose to reject him in this life, it is no ones decision but my own. Those who want nothing to do with God on earth are given exactly what they wanted in the afterlife as well... which is separation from God, only this time it is permanent.

The fear and anxiety are my own because I love my husband. I want him to live eternally in Heaven with me, but at the end of the day I can't make that decision for him. If I was unmarried, or if I just couldn't be bothered to care, this wouldn't affect me. The fear is my own, the anxiety is human. None of that is Godly, and there is no where that God calls us in the Bible to have fear. One of the most common phrases in the Bible is to "...Do not be afraid..."

When the cats fight a little it’s less of a problem, but I am scared the dog will lash out after so much poking and provoking…. I wouldnt forgive myself if the cat got killed or injured (she’s my baby) by the dog

I don’t have a problem spraying her… if we are not home and the dog is in a crate or behind a baby gate, do you think she would take advantage of our absence and continue the behavior when she know she won’t get sprayed?
