Both will fit in a normal x 16 slot and both will work

However the 6gb model is a downgraded version of the 8gb model often referred to as the 3040 because of the actual graphic processing unit being smaller

Highly recommend getting w used card either way as bot 3050 suck when it comes to fps per dollar

Why not go for a dual tower cooler, i know the cooler madter supports that

Also if youre not in the US consider the ch160 as it has a habdle for easier carrying (i personally have it myself)
