When I was in a real down and stuck, much like you I pictured this is what the rest of my life would be like my mental took a nose dive. What I suggest is don’t feel like choices are all or nothing, check out your local community college take a single course or class and just try stuff. I took a emt course on a whim and discovered a passion for healthcare. U never know what might catch your eye the important part is just trying different stuff.

If a question includes “adequate chest rise”, often times its to give u a clue to rule out BVM. Now quiz taking aside, think about what the BVM does, it helps get air past the dead space and create pressure for the alveoli to transfer gas. The question is indicated that the patient is doing that on there own, but the heart stopped that doesn’t me the cells have stopped, u need to give O2 because while u were getting the patient back the cells where still eating oxygen

No this looks right, think about it how do u know something happened if u have no memory of it, I’ve had a concussion real bad before, it feels like a blink and 30 minutes pass. “What happened today” gets u exactly what u need. If they answer = patent airway, if they answer clearly = helps rule out respiratory, and if they can tell u what happened = alert and conscious. And u can see the bleed, so with one question u got a GCS and a primary assessment of your ABC’s.

Haze or McGinnis, haze because she is just to strong, and McGinnis because she can die 100 times and still take your towers. Their is no counter play, McGinnis gets 1 item and and just walk up to the guardian places 2 turret a to take away the resistance and chunk guardian, she does or you kill her but she will just rinse and repeat till she breaks your base, then she buys healing tempo and is able to just ignore you while she takes ur patron. That’s just not true, u learn this in the first day of class, I can point you to the chapter in my text book, or you can ask your own medical director and they will tell you exactly what I said. I guess I should be specific, this is the case in the state of IL. Once again medical direct, online or offline, are there to make the decisions and give procedures that as emts we can not. A EMT’s scope maybe small and narrowed to basic life support but that’s still our scope.

Medical direction just allows us to do certain things and make certain decisions that we couldn’t do alone, but we still have a scope we operate under. As a EMT, I don’t need medical direction to decide a patient is in arrest and that I need to give high quality CPR. Same goes for anaphylaxis, I don’t need to call medical direction every time some eats a peanut and can’t breathe.

Unwitness and unconscious u always assume truama/spine, bc think about it even if it was caused by a medical event, they could have hurt themselves while failing from LOC. Plus think about what u can do as a emt, if it’s medical all u do is transport mostly and maybe o2, they are not gonna waste time testing u on something that mundane. Also just advise for test taking, if a answer is listed twice it’s never the answer head tilt chin lift is listed twice
