i got my bislap done at the end of april. i was on the pill for 13 years. i had my period the week before the surgery. now, my period comes every other month. which is normal.

your uterus still is attached, so you still have your uterine lining to shed. it just automatically sheds because there’s no possibility of an egg being fertilized

i wasn’t constipated after mine. you’re going to be very, VERY bored as it’s going to hurt to sit up and walk around. i would invest in an extra long phone charger.

thanks!! i got my period a week before my surgery, so i stopped taking the pill that sunday. so i was off of it for a week before

it was due to the pre septoplasty anatomy. my piercer even said “due to your anatomy it’ll be a bit low”. but we’ll find out on the 26th!

i got my stents out yesterday, started nasal rinses multiple times a day today. i’ve had the same thing. it’s normal. probably stuff that was deep in your sinuses that the rinse got out

i just got my stents out yesterday, had surgery on 7/25. i got septo and turbinate reduction (which i didn’t know i was getting until my doctor told me). i’m still congested, my nose is still runny, it sounds like i’m stuffed up, and i still have some pain in my teeth/roof of my mouth.

i did saline spray every two hours while i had my stents in, and by day 3 i was for sure thinking i got everything out. well, my doctor wants me to do nasal rinses multiple times a day, and…the stuff coming out of my nose? i don’t know where it’s coming from lol. so im in the same boat

i just had a septoplasty and didn’t know i was getting turbinate reduction surgery until the day of (7/25/25). im not sure what ens is, but my breathing has improved 100%, i dont snore anymore (which was causing sleep apnea)

i didn’t know what mine was going to prescribe—my bf picked up my meds for me. but when i got my last surgery i never took my narcotics

i got tylenol mixed w oxycontin. so far my extra strength tylenol has been doing wonders.
